    摘要: A wall-mounted flagpole extension device is provided. The device is comprised of a base plate comprised of at least a first receiving point and a primary and secondary flagpole. The flag can be attached to the primary flagpole to be flown at a full-mast position. When a user desires to display the flag at a half-mast position, a user can attach the secondary flagpole to the end of the primary flagpole to give the appearance that the flag is now being flown at half-mast.

    摘要: Disclosed is a side bet system for roulette game. The side bet system is easy for players to understand since it does not involve a random number generator and instead relies on the winning number from a round of play to determine if the side bet is won. The system utilizes a winning number database stack to select and display a plurality of predictions regarding the next winning number. Each prediction is associated with an icon and players wager on any or all of the icons. It allows a winning wager in a first round to ride for a second round of prediction by the icon and if the icon again predicts the winning number the wager pays off and rides for third round of prediction by the icon. If the icon correctly predicts the third consecutive number the wager pays off again and the series restarts.

    摘要: A method comprising: providing at least one first diamond film comprising polycrystalline diamond, e.g., nanocrystalline or ultrananocrystalline diamond, disposed on a substrate, wherein the first diamond film comprises a surface comprising diamond asperities and having a first diamond film thickness, removing asperities from the first diamond film to form a second diamond film having a second diamond film thickness, wherein the second thickness is either substantially the same as the first thickness, or the second thickness is about 100 nm or less thinner than the first diamond film thickness, optionally patterning the second diamond film to expose substrate regions and, optionally, depositing semiconductor material on the exposed substrate regions, and depositing a solid layer on the second diamond film to form a first layered structure. Applications include for example dielectric isolation in the semiconductor industry, as well as surface acoustic wave devices, scanning probe microscope, and atomic force microscope devices.
