Abstract:
A laser-optical position detecting module with a laser as a light source is disclosed, which includes a laser mode conversing assembly, having a laser source capable of emitting a time-modulated laser beam; a laser mode conversing unit, used to expand the time-modulated laser beam to a two-dimension sensing plane; a drive control unit, adopted for driving the laser source to emit the time-modulated laser beam; and a detector matrix. The laser mode conversing unit has a phase delay device and a passive optical device capable of reflecting the light; so that, through the laser mode conversing unit, the laser-optical position detecting module can expand the light emitted by the laser source to the two-dimension sensing plane without using any other mechanical scanning.
Abstract:
Disclosed is a structure of desk lamp, including a base, a support arm, and a lampshade. The lampshade is composed of a first lampshade portion and a second lampshade portion. The first and second lampshade portions are relatively movable with respect to each other and are removably coupled to each other (for being fixed together or separated from each other) to allow the second lampshade portion to selectively serve as a separate portable lighting device thereby making the use thereof easy and providing excellent convenience of use.
Abstract:
A microwave-excited plasma source using a ridged wave-guide line-type microwave plasma reactor is disclosed. The microwave-excited plasma source comprises a reaction chamber, a ridged wave-guide and a separation plate. The ridged wave-guide is disposed on the reaction chamber, and comprises a frame portion, a ridge portion and a line-shaped slot. The line-shaped slot is disposed on a first side of the frame portion, and the ridge portion facing the line-shaped slot is disposed on a second side of the frame portion. The separation plate is disposed on the line-shaped slot. Moreover, the ridged wave-guide is suitable for concentrating microwave power, which is transmitted to the reaction chamber through the line-shaped slot in order to excite plasma.
Abstract:
A wind turbine with a self-contained power system is disclosed. The self-contained power system comprises an auxiliary generator with a winding disposed on the rotor side while the magnetic poles of the auxiliary generator are disposed at components moving relatively to the rotation of the rotor. Thereby, a back electromotive force (emf) is generated in the winding due to the relative motion of the winding with respect to the magnetic poles as the rotor is rotating, and consequently the self-contained power system generates electricity to provide the power for driving the rotor to rotate. Therefore, the ability of the wind turbine to operate independently is enhanced since the amount of back-up power supply required is reduced and the structure of the wind turbine is simplified. Therefore the cost of the wind turbine is reduced, and the system reliability is increased.
Abstract:
A heat-sink module of light-emitting diode comprises a circuit board, at least a light-emitting diode, at least a heat-conducting layer, and a heat-sink block, wherein the circuit board has a through hole formed thereon, and the light-emitting diode is mounted across over the through hole of the circuit board. In addition, the heat-conducting layer is mounted under the light-emitting diode. The heat-sink block is coupled with the heat-conducting layer via the through hole of the circuit board. As a result, the heat-dissipating efficiency of the light-emitting diode can be improved.
Abstract:
A method for fabricating a LED has the steps of affixing the chip, wire bonding, isolation layer formation; and phosphor sedimentation. Before the isolation layer becomes solid, a phosphor is applied onto the outer face of the isolation layer and by means of the sedimentation effect, the phosphor is thus immersed in the isolation layer evenly so as to achieve the purpose of emit light evenly.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a speed-changing transmission hub for a bicycle comprising: a central shaft; a controlling device; a planetary gear system, which comprises a planet gear holder, holding several planet gears; a second ring gear; a first ring gear; and two sun gears. Variations of speed are realized by separately fixing the sun gears of different diameters. There is no switching of input and no reversal of the rotation of the sun gears. The sun gears only need to be controlled by a one-way clutch guided by the controlling device, which is mounted on the central shaft. Thereby the arrangement is simplified and its weight is reduced.
Abstract:
A susceptor positioning and supporting device of a vacuum apparatus for carrying and elevating a substrate in a vacuum apparatus chamber is provided. The device has a lateral positioning and supporting mechanism to perform clamping and positioning at a side of a susceptor, preventing the susceptor from slanting inside the vacuum apparatus chamber. The lateral positioning and supporting mechanism and the susceptor thereby forms a closed beam support mechanism capable of reducing load suspension deformation at the ends of the large susceptor. The device improves planarity of the large susceptor and the substrate, and in turn improves uniformity of a thin film deposited on the substrate.
Abstract:
An adjustable lighting device having a main body, a light generation device inserted into a receptacle, a movable lens, a base electrically connected to the light generation device, and an adjustor cover rotatably mounted to and covering the outside of the main body so that rotation of the adjustor cover causes the lens to extend/retract within the receptacle so that the extension/retraction of the lens can be controlled by the rotation of the adjustor cover for realizing focus adjustment.
Abstract:
An edge-emitting light-emitting diode comprises a base, a frame, and at least three chips. The base has a recessed cup on the front side. The angles of the edge of the base are ranged from 3 degrees to 45 degrees. The frame is fixed on the recessed cup of the base. These chips are electrically connected to the frame inside the recessed cup. A depth between the upper edges of the chips and a top surface of the recessed cup is ranged from 0.3 mm to 3 mm. As a result, the edge-emitting light-emitting diode provides the function of light mixing and provides superior lighting effect.
