摘要: Systems, methods, and mediums perform automated functionality testing for a heating ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) system. A method includes receiving a user input to test one of a heating or cooling functionality of the HVAC system. The method also includes identifying an amount to change a setpoint for a zone controller for the HVAC system based on the user input. The method further includes changing the setpoint for the zone controller to force the HVAC system into one of a heating mode and a cooling mode in accordance with the user input. Additionally, the method includes storing data from the HVAC system operating in the one of the heating mode and the cooling mode.

摘要: Data relating to energy management may be collected and stored from one or more sites. This data may be analyzed by a series of rules, and each rule may look for certain patterns in the data over time. Each time a pattern is detected in the data, the rule may create and store an event back into the database. Each event may represent the detection of a specific condition that starts at a specific time and continues for a specific duration. Each rule may also dynamically assign and update a score to each event that indicates its level of importance and persistence. Once the raw data has been analyzed and events have been created that represent basic conditions, a new set of rules may analyze the events themselves, in addition to, or rather than, the raw data. Successive passes of rules can thus detect higher level, broader problems.

摘要: A method performed by a zone controller for a zone of a building for improving energy efficiency in a heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) system is provided. The method includes operating in a ventilation mode. A temperature of the zone and outside air conditions for the building are monitored. A determination is made regarding whether to switch from the ventilation mode to an economizing mode based on a first set point for the temperature of the zone and based on the outside air conditions. The first set point is determined based on a second set point for the temperature that is different from the first set point. A determination is made regarding whether to activate the HVAC system based on the second set point.

摘要: Automation systems, methods, and mediums. A method includes identifying a first amount of energy consumed by a plurality of devices in a building during a first period of time while a first device in the plurality of devices is in a first state to form a first baseline. The method includes identifying a second amount of energy consumed by the plurality of devices during a second period of time while the first device is in a second state. Additionally, the method includes generating an estimated energy consumption of the first device based on a difference between the first baseline and the second amount of energy consumed.

摘要: A method and system for dynamic demand aggregation at one or more grouped sites wherein each grouped site includes one or more devices. Within each group, each device is in communication with one of more local controllers which, in turn, are in communication with an aggregator and the demand response repository. The local controller controls and coordinates the operation of the devices based on instructions received from the aggregator. The aggregator dynamically receives information from the demand response repository which is continuously updated with information from the signal handler and the local controllers at the grouped sites.
