    摘要： A method and appertaining system for implementing the method are provided that utilize predefined Best Practice Templates that are rules/criteria for assessing the security of a particular network and devices on the network. A value is determined for each object and connection within a network as to whether it passes or fails one of the Best Practice criteria, and a pass ratio is determined for a particular Best Practice. Numerous Best Practice tests may be run, and an overall total value based on the collective sum of the Best Practice measurements is determined. This value can be utilized to provide a user with information that relates to the overall security of a network and can be used in compliance determinations and network architecture design.

    摘要： A composite material which has excellent ballistic performance and has improved flexibility. Surprisingly, it has been found that a combination of poly(alpha-olefin) fiber and matrix resin provides these desirable product features. The resin matrix is a block copolymer of a conjugated diene and a vinyl aromatic monomer, preferably a styrene-isoprene-styrene block copolymer, that is applied as an aqueous composition. The fiber has a tenacity of at least about 35 g/d and a tensile modulus of at least about 1200 g/d. The composite has a total density equal to or less than about 100 g/m2 and a stiffness of less than about 2.5 pounds (1.14 kg) for a two layer structure of the composite, and a total areal density equal to or less than about 190 g/m2 and a stiffness of less than about 3.0 pounds (1.36 kg) for a four layer structure of the composite. The Peel Strength for a two layer structure of less than about 1.0 pounds (0.45 kg) for a two layer structure of the composite, and less than about 0.7 pounds (0.32 kg) for a four layer structure of the composite. The process of this invention permits fabrication of these desirable products in a cost-effective manner. Body armor made from the composite has improved flexibility and excellent ballistic characteristics.

A three-dimensional landscape defined by x, y and z orthogonal axes is displayed on a screen, and a plurality of document stacks are arranged in the landscape. Each document stack in the landscape corresponds to a subject, and has a plurality of layers arranged perpendicular to the length of the stack. Each layer in each document stack corresponds to one of the hierarchical levels of the hierarchy established for the subject corresponding to the stack. Images representing documents assigned to each level of the hierarchy are displayed in the layer of the stack corresponding to such level. A user navigates among the document images displayed in the landscape using a cursor.

    摘要： A scent notification system operably coupled to a conventional cellular phone wherein the scent notification system is configured to alert the cellular phone user to an incoming communication via dispersal of a fluid having a specific aromatic property. The scent notification system further includes a housing that is operably coupled to the cellular phone. The housing has an interior volume that has contained therein at least one cartridge containing a fluid and an expansion chamber operably coupled thereto. The cartridge further includes a propellant to propel the fluid from the cartridge to the expansion chamber where the fluid converts to a gaseous phase and then propagates out of the expansion chamber via a nozzle.
