摘要: A method and system for limiting motor performance in a hybrid electric vehicle system. During a condition in a primary drivetrain, the method limits performance of an electric motor used in an auxiliary drivetrain to control energy consumed from a battery in the auxiliary drivetrain. A calculation or measurement is made to determine available battery energy remaining in the battery after the condition. The performance of the electric motor is then limited based on the available battery energy.

摘要: The disclosure is directed to an integrated glove including first and second substrate layers. The first substrate layer overlies the second substrate layer to define a volume therebetween configured to receive a wearer's hand. The integrated glove also includes first and second gas impermeable barrier layers respectively melt laminated to the first and second substrate layers. The first and second gas impermeable barrier layers extend beyond an outer contour of the first and second substrate layers and are melt laminated together to form a seam portion. The integrated glove has a breakthrough time greater than 60 minutes when exposed to NFPA 1991 industrial chemicals.

摘要: A hydraulic fracturing process in which substantial quantities of both nitrogen and carbon dioxide are incorporated into the fracturing fluid. Nitrogen and carbon dioxide are separately incorporated into an aqueous based fracturing fluid in amounts to provide a volume ratio of nitrogen to carbon dioxide at wellhead conditions within the range of about 0.2-1.0. The volume ratio of the total of carbon dioxide and nitrogen to the aqueous phase of the aqueous fracturing fluid at wellhead conditions within the range of about 1-4. The aqueous fracturing fluid containing the nitrogen and carbon dioxide is injected in the well under a pressure sufficient to implement hydraulic fracturing of the subterranean formation undergoing treatment. A thickening agent may be incorporated into water to provide a viscous aqueous based fracturing fluid to which the carbon dioxide and nitrogen are added. The carbon dioxide is incorporated in liquid phase and the nitrogen in gaseous phase. Propping agent is incorporated into at least a portion of the fracturing fluid. Addition of the propping agent takes place prior to addition of the carbon dioxide and nitrogen.

摘要: A subterranean formation is treated by introducing a fracturing treatment composition comprising a polymer treatment fluid containing a dispersion of hydrophilic water swellable particles into the formation. The water swellable particles comprise synthetic polymers that are crosslinked so that they are water insoluble, but capable of swelling in the presence of relatively small amounts of water. When used with treatment fluids containing at least a small amount of water, the particles swell and reduce fluid loss to the formation during the treatment. When used during a hydraulic fracturing treatment of a hydrocarbon bearing formation, the particles may also reduce or eliminate water production following the fracturing treatment by restricting the extension of a fracture into water-bearing formations, and/or by restricting the flow of fluids from water-bearing areas.

摘要: Hydraulic fracturing process in which a normally gaseous energizing phase is incorporated into an aqueous fracturing fluid in a manner to effect good dissemination and stabilization of the energizing phase in the fracturing liquid. A normally gaseous energizing phase is incorporated into an aqueous fracturing fluid having a viscosity at wellhead conditions within the range of 10-300 centipoises. The fracturing fluid containing the energizing phase is introduced into the well and displaced from the wellhead down the well to the vicinity of the subterranean formation. During the displacement of the fracturing fluid from the wellhead to the vicinity of the formation, the viscosity of the fracturing fluid is increased by a factor about 2 or more. The higher viscosity fracturing fluid is displaced from the well into the formation in the course of the fracturing process. The energizing phase is provided by incorporating a substantial amount of liquid carbon dioxide into the aqueous fracturing fluid. Nitrogen gas may also be incorporated into the fracturing fluid. Mixing of a cross-linking agent within the fracturing fluid and cross-linking of a polymeric thickening agent causes viscosity enhancement of the fracturing fluid as it moves down the wellbore.
