The outlet valve assembly has an outlet valve member operable between a closed position and an open position, and the outlet valve member is maintained in a closed position by a sealing member, and includes anchoring member engaging the outlet valve assembly. With the outlet valve member in the closed position, the inlet valve member is forced open by compressing the resilient member, thus allowing fluid into the chamber, and with the fluid chamber primed and the inlet valve member in a closed position, the outlet valve member is forced open by disengaging the anchoring member and defeating the sealing member to allow fluid discharge from the chamber.

    摘要： A non-luer apparatus for controlled flow of medical fluid materials for use as an adapter in a covered outlet of a medical fluid container, has a body with a hollow interior, a first open end adapted for attachment with the medical fluid container outlet, and a second open end adapted for fit with a medical accessory. The first open end also has a piercing portion for piercing the covered outlet. The second open end further includes an upstanding circumferential wall and associated retaining means for releasable attachment with the medical accessory. A fluid flow control means is disposed within the body to control the flow of medical fluid materials between the medical fluid container and the medical accessory where the fluid flow control means is motivated to open or close fluid communication when the medical accessory is attached or disengaged from the second open end.

    摘要： An apparatus for controlled flow of medical fluid materials for use as an adapter in place of a septum in an outlet of a medical fluid container, has a body with a hollow interior, a first open end adapted for fluid tight fit with the outlet of the medical fluid container, and a second open end adapted for fit with a medical accessory. A fluid flow control means is disposed with the body for controlling the flow of medical fluid materials through the hollow interior between the medical fluid container and the medical accessory. The fluid flow control means comprises a valve member, a valve seat, and biasing means operating on the valve member to bias the valve member against the valve seat for fluid tight fit. The valve member is motivated to open fluid communication between the medical fluid container and the medical accessory when the medical accessory is attached to the second open end and the valve member is motivated to close fluid communication between the medical fluid container and the medical accessory when the medical accessory is disengaged from the second open end.

    摘要： An apparatus for controlled flow of fluid materials for use with medical accessories has a first housing with a body, a first open end, a second open end, and a hollow interior. The second end fits with a first medical accessory for flow of fluid materials from the first medical accessory. A fluid flow control means is disposed within the housing for controlling the flow of fluid materials through the hollow interior from the first medical accessory. The apparatus also has a second housing with an open end, a first open end, a hollow interior, and a second open end having an axial bore coaxial with the hollow interior of the first housing. The second end of the second housing fits with the first open end of the first housing. The first open end of the second housing fits with a second medical accessory, whereby the second medical accessory receives fluid materials from the first medical accessory by way of the hollow interior of the body.
