Abstract: The invention relates to a dose control system configured for an injectable drug delivery device. The device comprises a disk-shaped diametral single-dipole magnet (9) attachable to a rotatable dose wheel, a housing removably attachable to the proximal extremity of the drug delivery body and comprising at least a first and a second magnetic field measurement means (8). An integrated control unit (2) is connected to the magnetic field measurement means and is configured to process information received therefrom. The magnetic field measurement means are located in the housing in a displaced axial relationship relative to the longitudinal axis of the drug delivery body and the magnet. The magnet is configured to co-rotate with the dose setting wheel and the integrated control unit is configured to provide a normalized vector with regard to the displaced axial relationship of the magnetic field measurement means, said normalized vector being derived from the measured magnetic field generated by the rotation of the magnet and measured by the magnetic field measurement means. A dose setting is calculated from said normalized vector.

Abstract: The invention relates to an injection system in which drug delivery data are transmitted from a drug delivery device to a mobile device via a wireless Bluetooth connection and, from there, to a remote server via a network connection. A novel method makes it possible for the drug delivery data to be encrypted on the drug delivery device and to be sent via the Bluetooth transmission channel without pairing being carried out. The drug delivery data are decrypted only on the remote server and assigned to the drug delivery device. This process can be supported by both the mobile device and the drug delivery device observing the Bluetooth transmission channel and estimating how far away the relevant sender of the transmitted data is from the mobile device or drug delivery device.

Abstract: Systems and methods provide transferring of access to patient data between organizations. In some implementations, one or more servers, with various services (12, 14, 16, 18, 20), transfer access to patient data from a first to a second organization. The server(s) may generate a user interface; receive job input data via the interface; and generate a transfer job based on the job input data. The transfer job may include list data indicative of one or more patients. The server(s) may execute the generated transfer job. The executing iterates through the list data and communicates transfer commands to services of the server(s). Access to the patient data associated with the patient(s) of central database(s) indicated by the list data is transferred from the first organization to the second organization. The server(s) may generate, for a display on the user interface, transfer job status information concerning the status of the executing.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a method and an apparatus for treating breast milk, in which a breast pump is applied to the female breast and the breast pump is operated to express and transfer breast milk to a container. The apparatus according to the invention for treating breast milk comprises an accommodation for a container containing breast milk and a closing device for sealing the container, a system for treating the breast milk contained in the container to improve the shelf life of the breast milk, a device for determining the amount of breast milk contained in the container, a reading device for reading out a container identifier provided on the container or attaching device for attaching a container identifier to the container and an interface for transmitting information to a memory characterizing the container identifier and the determined amount of breast milk.
