    摘要: An automatic external defibrillator including: a sensor for detecting when a rescuer is delivering a CPR chest compression to the patient; electrodes for application to the thorax of the patient for delivering a defibrillation shock to the patient and for detecting an ECG signal; defibrillation circuitry for delivering a defibrillation shock to the electrodes; and a processor and associated memory for executing software that controls operation of the defibrillator. The software provides: ECG analysis for analyzing the ECG signal to determine if the cardiac rhythm is shockable; CPR detection for analyzing the output of the sensor to determine when a CPR chest compression has been delivered, and integration of the ECG analysis and CPR detection so that the determination of whether the cardiac rhythm is shockable is based only on time periods of the ECG signal during which there has not been a CPR chest compression delivered.

    摘要: A connector device interposed between a fetal heart rate monitor and fetal and material electrodes. The device includes a connector inserted in a leg plate. The leg plate has a housing which contains a printed circuit board. The board or housing is detachably connected to a base. The board has tracers which interconnect output terminals of the housing with input contacts of the housing and with a ground electrode of the base. The output terminals lead to the fetal heart rate monitor. The input contacts are in electrical contact with terminals of the connector, which in turn are electrically connected with the electrodes via a twisted wire pair. The input contacts of the leg plate are preferably in the form of barrel contacts which have fingers whose free ends either electrically connect with the connector terminals or engage with a recess on an exterior periphery of the connector.

    摘要: A computer-implemented method of recording the times of events related to the medical care delivered to patient, and for integrating those times to provide a patient history, including recording a first time of occurrence of a first event, recording first clock information characterizing a first time source from which the first time of occurrence was obtained, recording a second time of occurrence of a second event, recording second clock information characterizing a second time source from which the second time of occurrence was obtained, wherein the first time source and the second time source are independent of one another and not synchronized with one another, transferring recorded data so that the first time of occurrence, first clock information, second time of occurrence, and second clock information are accessible at a computer; and producing a patient history using at least the first and second times of occurrence.
