摘要:
A resuscitation device for assisting a rescuer in resuscitating a patient. A handheld computing/communication device may be configured for performing a non-resuscitation function during time periods when resuscitation is not required, the handheld device may be further configured to provide CPR prompts during time periods when used by a rescuer to assist in resuscitation, and a sensor may be provided to measure a parameter (e.g., chest acceleration) relevant to resuscitation. A CPR-assistance element may be configured to be applied to the patient and to communicate with the handheld computing/communication device.
摘要:
Systems and methods related to the field of cardiac resuscitation, and in particular to devices for assisting rescuers in performing cardio-pulmonary resuscitation (CPR) are described herein. A method for managing cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) treatment to a person in need of emergency assistance includes monitoring, with an electronic medical device, a parameter that indicates a quality level of a CPR component being provided to the person by a user; determining, with the electronic medical device, that the parameter indicates that the quality level of CPR being provided is inadequate; and providing, to one or more rescuers of the person, an audible, visual, or tactile indication that a different person should perform the CPR component.
摘要:
A computer-implemented method for communicating information to medical responders includes registering a plurality of individuals as potential responders for medical problems, receiving at a central service an indication that a person is having a medical problem and receiving information that identifies a current location of the person, and identifying, from among the registered plurality of individuals, one or more registered individuals who are currently in close proximity to the person having a medical problem. The method also includes transmitting, to the one or more registered individuals, information that identifies the location of the person having a medical problem. The one or more individuals comprise lay responders who are not assigned responsibility to provide lifesaving services in an area around the current location of the person.
摘要:
An electrode assembly includes an electrode configured for externally defibrillating a subject. The electrode assembly also includes a camera configured to capture an image of at least a portion of the subject's body. The image has sufficient information to enable the position of the electrode assembly relative to the subject's chest to be determined.

This document relates to systems and techniques for providing response to emergency situations, such as traffic accidents, cardiac arrest, or other medical emergencies.
摘要:
A computer-implemented method of recording the times of events related to the medical care delivered to patient, and for integrating those times to provide a patient history, including recording a first time of occurrence of a first event, recording first clock information characterizing a first time source from which the first time of occurrence was obtained, recording a second time of occurrence of a second event, recording second clock information characterizing a second time source from which the second time of occurrence was obtained, wherein the first time source and the second time source are independent of one another and not synchronized with one another, transferring recorded data so that the first time of occurrence, first clock information, second time of occurrence, and second clock information are accessible at a computer; and producing a patient history using at least the first and second times of occurrence.
摘要:
A device for assisting a rescuer in delivering therapy to an adult or pediatric patient, the device including a user interface comprising a display and/or audio speakers, the user interface being configured to deliver prompts to a rescuer to assist the rescuer in delivering therapy to a patient; a processor configured to provide prompts to the user interface and to perform an ECG analysis algorithm on ECG information detected from the patient; at least one detection element configured to determine without rescuer input via the user interface that a pediatric patient is being treated; wherein, if a pediatric patient is detected, the processor modifies the ECG analysis algorithm or the prompts provided to the user interface to use an ECG analysis algorithm or prompts adapted for a pediatric patient rather than for an adult patient.
摘要:
Systems and methods related to the field of cardiac resuscitation, and in particular to devices for assisting rescuers in performing cardio-pulmonary resuscitation (CPR) are described herein. In some aspects, a system and method can include obtaining values for depths of a plurality of the chest compressions and information about a physiological parameter of the person and providing periodic feedback to a user about chest compressions performed by the user based at least in part on the values for the depths of the plurality of the chest compressions and a target compression depth.

Electrodes and circuitry for monitoring and stimulating the exterior of the human body, comprising delivering stimulation pulses to stimulation electrodes applied to the exterior of the body, detecting an electrical potential at monitoring electrodes applied to the exterior of the body, positioning at least a first and second monitoring electrode at locations at which an electrical artifact caused by the electrical stimulation pulses is substantially cancelled in a signal formed from the electrical potentials detected at the first and second monitoring electrodes.
