摘要: The system provides a real-time video and audio communication with a 911 call center to perform effective CPR on a patient experiencing OHCA with real-time monitoring and feedback. The system includes a Mobile App that communicates with a smart phone with camera, a wireless remote-CPR equipment stand and emergency CPR kit. The mobile app will automatically send a link to a caregiver's cell phone responsive to a 911 call placed by the caregiver, to establish a secured video call via which the 911 center can guide the caregiver in performance of CPR until an ambulance arrives.

摘要: A system and method for aiding in the proper placement of ECG electrodes and other resuscitation parameters. The system includes motion sensors disposed on the ECG electrodes, and a defibrillator control system operable to interpret motion signals from the motions sensors to determine that an electrode is in motion, and thus being handled by rescuer setting up the system for use, and, based on this determination, prompt the rescuer to place the electrode in its intended location on the body of the patient. The control system may also be operable to determine relative motion and/orientation of the motion sensors and control resuscitation based on the relative motion and/orientation of the motion sensors.

摘要: Chest compression machine systems and methods adjust the administration of patient treatment based on received physiological parameter measurements, such as a CO2 measurement. Adjustment of the administered chest compressions can include adjusting one or more chest compression parameters, such as the depth of the administered compressions, the administration of active decompressions, adjusting the height of active decompression, adjusting the rate of compressions and/or active decompressions and/or other changes to one or more properties, or characteristics, of the administered chest compressions and/or active decompressions.

摘要: A first exoskeleton is in communication with a central server or a peripheral device. The first exoskeleton collects first data and transmits the first data to the central server or peripheral device. The central server or peripheral device generates second data using the first data and transmits the second data to the first exoskeleton or a second exoskeleton.

摘要: Preclinical and clinical studies have shown that the autonomic nervous system (parasympathetic and sympathetic nervous systems) show reliable changes across the sleep wake cycle. Most importantly, the parasympathetic nervous system shows increased activity during sleep consistent with its role in regulating rest. Further, patients with insomnia show reduced parasympathetic activity and/or increased sympathetic activity during sleep consistent with a neurobiological model of “hyperarousal”. Described herein are methods and apparatuses that activate the parasympathetic nervous system in response to a diving reflex; a sustained diving reflex may, surprisingly, lead to enhancing sleep. The apparatuses and methods described herein may specifically and/or selectively activate this reflex may play a therapeutic role in the modulation of sleep in insomnia patients.
