摘要: Medical devices, plug-ins, systems, and methods for CPR quality feedback are disclosed. The medical devices can calculate peripheral circulation relevant parameters based on measured signals containing at least partial hemodynamic characteristics. Amplitude and area characteristics included in the peripheral circulation relevant parameters can further be determined for providing feedback and control relating to CPR quality during the compression process. Also, compression interruption during CPR can be evaluated based on a pulse waveform generated from the measured signals.

摘要: A wound or incision closure apparatus comprises a first and second panel. Each of the panels comprises a bottom adhesive layer, a medial substrate layer, and an upper load distribution layer which connect the two panels. A sensory or therapeutic element is disposed adjacent, within, or between two or more of the layers. The sensory or therapeutic element can provide sensing and/or therapy for the incision and/or monitor the incision so that the therapy can be customized and updated.

摘要: A method for determining an efficacy of cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) includes receiving a plethysmography signal from an oximetry sensor and an electrocardiogram (ECG) signal from an ECG sensor at a processor associated with a patient monitor, the oximetry sensor, or the ECG sensor. The method includes determining a first indicator related to the efficacy of CPR based on the plethysmography signal, using the processor. The method also includes determining a second indicator related to the efficacy of CPR based on the ECG signal, using the processor. The method further includes combining the first indicator and the second indicator to determine a combination metric indicative of the efficacy of CPR, using the processor.

摘要: A transport apparatus includes a base, a sling, and a support frame mounted to the base. The frame is configured to move from a first position relative to the base to a second position relative to the base. The frame includes a U-shaped frame with a lower cross-frame member and vertically oriented spaced side frame members joined with the cross-frame member. The side frame members support arm rests, and the cross-frame member optionally forms a footrest. In another aspect, the frame includes an access opening to allow a person egress and ingress to and from the sling through the frame.
