    摘要: An electroluminescent device having an opposing EL-segment pair, including a first EL-segment that produces light in response to a first through-device current having a first transparent electrode connection and a first reflective electrode connection; a second EL-segment that produces light in response to a second through-device current, and having a second transparent electrode connection and a second reflective electrode connection and being disposed adjacent to and spaced from the first EL-segment such that the first transparent electrode connection is on the opposite edge as the second transparent electrode connection and the direction of the first transparent electrode current is parallel but opposite to the direction of the second transparent electrode current; and the first and second EL-segments are connected to a common power source such that the two EL-segments can be simultaneously forward biased.

    摘要: An light-emitting diode device, including a substrate; and a reflective electrode and a semi-transparent electrode formed over the substrate and an unpatterned white light-emitting layer formed between the reflective electrode and the semi-transparent electrode, the reflective electrode, semi-transparent electrode, and unpatterned white-light-emitting layer forming an optical microcavity, and wherein either the reflective or semi-transparent electrodes is patterned to form a plurality of independently controllable light-emitting elements with at least one light-emitting element having no color filter. Color filters are formed over a side of the semi-transparent electrodes opposite the unpatterned white light-emitting layer in correspondence with the light-emitting elements, the color filters having at least two different colors.

    摘要: There is disclosed an optical recording media having a transparent substrate; a dye recording layer containing a metal complex of a porphym or phthalocyanine dye on said transparent substrate; a reflective layer provided on said dye layer wherein the reflective layer which is a mixture of silver and gold in such proportions that the gold is between about 0.5 and 15 atomic percent of said mixture; and a protective layer formed over said reflective layer. In accelerated keeping tests, the media of the invention exhibits excellent stability.
