摘要: An N1-cyclic amine-N5-substituted phenyl biguanide derivative of Formula 1 or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, a method of manufacturing the same, and a pharmaceutical composition including the biguanide derivative or the pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof as an active ingredient are provided. The biguanide derivatives have an effect of inhibiting cancer cell proliferation and also exhibit anticancer activity including inhibition of cancer metastasis and cancer recurrence, because they are effective in activating AMPK, which is associated with the control of energy metabolism, even when administered in a small dose compared with conventional drugs. Also, the biguanide derivatives are highly effective at lowering blood glucose and lipid concentration by AMPK activation, thus they may be effectively used to treat diabetes mellitus, obesity, hyperlipemia, hypercholesterolemia, fatty liver, coronary artery disease, osteoporosis, polycystic ovary syndrome and metabolic syndrome.

摘要: The present invention relates to a pharmaceutical composition for treating scars on the skin, comprising a mixture of botulinum toxin and air. The mixture of botulinum toxin and air according to the present invention, when injected in the dermis, may temporarily removed the elasticity of the dermis and flatten out the depressed part of the scar, and thus enables elaborate intradermic resection and increases the therapeutic effects of lasers for treating pulsed dye laser or of fractional lasers. Thus, scars on the skin can be effectively improved through a one-time operation without negatively affecting the daily lives of patients.

摘要: A method of fabricating a transparent electrode for use in a quantum dot sensitized solar cell, and a quantum dot sensitized solar cell fabricated according to the method are provided. According to the fabrication method, (S1) quantum dot precursor is introduced into a high pressure storage vessel and a quantum dot precursor is dissolved using subcritical fluid or supercritical fluid; (S2) the quantum dot precursor fluid prepared at (S1) is transported to contact with a conductive thin layer substrate comprised of a metal oxide placed in a high pressure reaction vessel, thereby causing the quantum dot precursor to be adsorbed in the metal oxide thin layer; (S3) non-adsorbed quantum dot precursor fluid of (S2) is transported and thus recovered to the high pressure storage vessel together with the subcritical fluid or supercritical fluid; and (S4) the subcritical fluid or supercritical fluid is removed from the high pressure reaction vessel, and the quantum dot precursor, adsorbed at (S2), is reacted with a second element which constitutes the quantum dot or a compound comprising the second element.

摘要: A printing system and a printing method providing a menu to change printing options to conserve developer. The printing method includes determining whether a developer is deficient by checking the status of the developer when a print command is input; setting new printing options upon determining the deficiency of the developer; and generating and printing an image according to the newly set printing options. Accordingly, it is possible to print more pages using the same amount of developer. Based on the menu to change the printing options, the user can select to change the resolution, the scale of the print, and the N-up, to conserve the developer.
