摘要： A system for purifying heated exhaust gases discharged from an internal combustion engine, a furnace, or the like. The system includes a novel rotating finned tube heat exchanger of generally cylindrical configuration. The exchanger has a plurality of longitudinally extending conduits which direct the exhaust gases back and forth between opposite end chambers of the heat exchanger. The gases are additionally passed, as required depending upon the type of pollutants they contain, through a series of purification devices which may include a novel afterburner to rid the gases of entrained unburned fuel, one or more water bath devices to cleanse the gases, and a separator to removed unburned compounds.

摘要： The present invention provides a urine collection device for use by a female having a reservoir for receiving and temporarily collecting urine originating from the female. The reservoir includes a first opening end for insertion within the confines of the labia minor of the female such that the first opening end surrounds the urethral orifice of the female and is positioned between the clitoris and vaginal orifice of the female. The reservoir also includes a second opening end which is spaced from the first opening end and forms a passageway for draining urine from the reservoir. The first opening end of the reservoir is elliptic in shape and includes a protruding rim for forming a seal between the first opening end and the tissue surrounding the urethral orifice of the female. The invention further provides a unique waist belt and urine collection bag for use with the urine collection device.

摘要： A female urinary drain assembly includes a waist band for encircling the waist of the wearer; a web of material suspended from the waist band so as to be located at the crotch of the wearer, the web having an opening through it; a urine collection funnel extending through the opening in the web and having a distal end forming a urine outlet and a proximal open end; a flange fixed on the funnel and locatable so as to bear against the inside face of the web to retain the funnel in position; and at least two leg straps connected to the web for encircling the legs of the wearer.

摘要： A system is described for reducing and controlling certain undesired byproducts from a combustion process in an engine by forcing supplemental air, preferably preheated, into the intake manifold of the engine at a point downstream from a conventional carburetor device. In addition, liquid vapor may be introduced into the intake manifold at approximately the same point. Preferably, a blower means for delivering supplemental air and a pumping means for pumping liquid are both operated by a single variable speed electric motor so that the functions of both devices can be related to changes in engine demands during operation.

摘要： A heat exchanger is disclosed which is operated between a source and a sink comprising a frame journaling a rotor relative to the frame which rotor has a first and second rotor end. Heat transfer means which may include a fluid conducting conduit or an electrical heating path forms a conduction path between the first and second rotor ends. The conduction path extends back and forth between a region proximate a first rotor end and a region proximate a second rotor end a plurality of times. The conduction path is connected to either the source or the sink to provide energy transfer therebetween. Means are provided for rotating the rotor for transferring heat between the conduction path and the other of the source and the sink. The foregoing abstract is merely a resume of one general application, is not a complete discussion of all principles of operation or applications, and is not to be construed as a limitation on the scope of the claimed subject matter.CROSS-REFERENCE TO RELATED APPLICATIONSThis is a continuation-in-part of my pending application, Ser.
