Abstract:
An apparatus in a machine for processing printing material has a register sensor for register measurement between at least two color separations of a printed image printed above one another on a printing material. The register sensor registers optically deviations between the two color separations and forwards the deviations onto a computer. The register sensor contains at least one photodiode having at least two quadrants. The largely rectangular evaluation areas of the photodiode are aligned obliquely in relation to the edges of the conveyed printing material. A register mark to be detected by the register sensor has a plurality of wedge-shaped colored areas pointing in a peripheral direction of the printing material, one of the wedge-shaped colored areas being a reference color used as a reference variable and others of the wedge-shaped colored areas being register colors to be controlled. An alternative register mark has a first field for length calibration; a second field having a wedge of a reference color selected as a reference variable; and a third field containing a register color to be controlled. The may also be provided a measuring field formed as a point-symmetrical field exhibiting a color of a color separation as a full tone.

Abstract:
A hydraulic system having a pressure generator which is protected against destructive overload. The hydraulic system has a pulsating feeding pressure generator, such as a piston pump, which feeds pressure fluid at high pressure into a damper chamber of a housing. A throttle body having a throttle bore is disposed on the outlet side of the damper chamber. For producing the protective effect, the damper chamber is preceded by a rupture disk communicating with the outlet. The throttle body suitably has a thin-walled portion, embodied as a rupture disk, in which the throttle bore is located. The embodiment described is advantageously usable in hydraulic systems in which pressure fluids are pulsatingly fed at high pressures.
Abstract:
A braking system for a vehicle is described, including a hydraulic service braking system and an electric service braking system having wheel brakes, to which braking pressure is applied when a brake pedal is operated. To maintain essentially constant vehicle braking behavior during a change in the braking-force distribution between the hydraulic and the electric service braking systems, it is proposed to provide a control unit, which is capable of varying the braking-force distribution and to equip the hydraulic service braking system with a braking pressure modulator that is controlled by the control unit and is able to effect a variable braking-force distribution as a function of the control by the control unit.
Abstract:
The invention relates to an electromechanical wheel brake device, with an electric motor that can press a frictional brake lining against a brake body (brake disk) by a reduction gear (planetary gear) and a rotation/translation conversion gear (ball screw). The invention proposes embodying the electric motor as a transverse flux motor with three phase windings; each phrase winding has a circular, annular excitation winding that is disposed inside U-shaped yokes, which are distributed over the circumference of the excitation winding. This embodiment of the electric motor permits a compact design of the electric motor in an annular, hollow shaft design so that the reduction gear and the rotation/translation conversion gear can be disposed at least partially inside the electric motor.
Abstract:
The invention relates to an arrangement of sheet-holding systems at storage drums in turning devices of sheet-fed printing machines. It is an object of the invention to provide an arrangement of sheet-holding systems at storage drums, which ensures a stiff construction of the storage drum and a simple adjustment of the sheet-holding systems relative to one another. Pursuant to the invention, this objective is accomplished owing to the fact that sheet-holding systems (8, 9) are provided in the front and rear regions for taking hold of the sheet (7) and can be adjusted relative to one another in the circumferential direction and the sheet holding systems (8) are assigned to the basic body (11) of the storage drum (5) for the front region and the sheet-holding systems (9) are assigned to a central axis (4), which can be fixed and rotated relative to the basic body (11) of the storage drum (5) for the rear region and the central axis (14 is connected with the sheet-holding system (9) by the side disk (17) of the basic body (11) of the storage drum (5).
Abstract:
The invention relates to an electromechanical wheel brake device with a brake caliper that is embodied of one piece with a gear housing in which a planetary roller screw drive for pressing frictional brake linings against a brake disk and a bevel gear pair for driving the planetary roller screw drive to rotate are accommodated. In order to keep a ring gear free of a force that acts axially on a nut of the planetary roller screw drive when the frictional brake linings are pressed against the brake disk, the device affixes a ring gear of the bevel gear pair in a rotationally fixed and axially mobile manner to the nut, for example by means of a multi-groove profile, and supporting the bevel gear with a separate axial bearing in the rigidly embodied gear housing.

A device for in-register positioning of a printing plate for mounting it on a plate cylinder of a printing press, includes at least two positioning pins engageable for in-register positioning exactly in recesses formed in a printing plate leading edge, and sensors for detecting the exact engagement and for transmitting a corresponding signal, at least one positioning pin and at least one recess on one side of the printing plate leading edge having noninterchangeable engagement positions in relation to at least one positioning pin and at least one recess on another side of the printing plate leading edge which is opposite to the one side thereof with respect to a center line of the printing plate.
Abstract:
A measuring apparatus for scanning moving, preferably sheet-like, printing materials in a printing material-processing machine, such as a press for processing sheet material. The apparatus has a measuring device which can be moved, at least in the transport direction of the printing materials. The measuring apparatus is set up in such a way that, during a measuring operation, the measuring device is moved over the moving printing material in the transport direction of the printing material with a differential speed relative to the transport speed of the printing material.
