    摘要: A receiver arrangement with AC coupling is specified in which a filter arrangement (3) is provided in a baseband signal processing chain in a homodyne receiver and can be switched between at least two high-pass filter cut-off frequencies. In this case, a brief changeover is made to a higher cut-off frequency when varying the gain of a low-noise baseband amplifier (2), for example when the received field strength changes, during the reception mode. The described arrangement allows changes to be carried out to the gain in baseband during the normal reception mode. The present receiver is accordingly suitable for code division multiple access methods, such as those which are provided in the UMTS Standard.

    摘要: A frequency tuning circuit includes a connection for coupling to a signal tap of an element which has a resonant frequency. The tuning circuit contains a controllable-capacitance capacitance array for tuning of a signal frequency of the element. The capacitance array has a multiplicity of capacitances which can be connected to a control connection via a signal. In this case, the capacitance array is coupled to the connection. A control input is used to supply a digital control word. Furthermore, the tuning circuit contains a sigma-delta modulator whose input side is coupled to the control input and whose output side is coupled to the control connection of the capacitance array. This makes it possible to produce a tuning word by means of which the effective resolution of the capacitance array can be increased.

At least one low pass filter is disposed between that input terminal and that output terminal.     摘要: Phase locked loops systems and control apparatus therefor are presented, in which a first charge pump bias current is generated according to a sensed VCO tuning voltage and a second generally constant bias current is provided. The provision of the first and second bias currents allows compensation for non-linear VCO tuning sensitivity. Methods are also presented for biasing a charge pump, including selectively providing a first current to the charge pump using a first current source, controlling the first current according to a VCO tuning voltage of the phase locked loop system, and providing a substantially constant second current to the charge pump.
