摘要: When an amount of write data instructed by an upper-level system is small, a plurality of disk units are accessed individually and data split in sectors is written therein (Level 5 RAID). When an amount of write data instructed by the upper-level system is large, the plurality of disk units are accessed in parallel and data split in sectors is written therein (Level 3 RAID). When a disk unit in an array, to which a setup instruction is issued according to a processing request sent from the upper-level system, returns a fault reply, an ID management table is used to allocate an auxiliary disk instead of the failing disk unit. After the allocation, data is restored to the replacement disk using the data in normal disk units in the same rank. In a dual-port access configuration, when two transactions access disk units connected to the same port, a deadlock may occur depending on the access procedure. It is checked if the conditions for a deadlock are established, so that access will be obtained according to a procedure for preventing or avoiding a deadlock.

摘要: According to one embodiment, an electronic apparatus includes a printed circuit board on which a part is mounted, a first connector for external connection provided in a peripheral portion of the printed circuit board, a reinforcing plate, a first fixing member, and a second fixing member. The reinforcing plate has a first portion to be attached in a region corresponding to the part on the printed circuit board, and a second portion attached to the printed circuit board to reinforce the first connector. The first fixing member fixes the first portion to the printed circuit board at an end of the first portion that is opposite to a portion facing the second portion. The second fixing member fixes the second portion to the printed circuit board.

摘要: This invention relates to a curtain applicator on which a two-layer curtain is formed by dispensing two types of coating medium, for example color, from a medium feeder positioned to the upper side of a moving web in order to apply two layers of coating medium onto the web surface. The medium feeder has a middle lip, which is arranged in the flow channels for the two types of medium and has a pointed part projecting toward the web side from the pointed parts of the two side lips which are arranged on the outer side of the flow channels for the two types of medium on the outer side in the width direction of the web. The curtain applicator also includes a convexly formed medium separation device, which adjoins the pointed part of the middle lip and individually separates the two types of surplus medium, for example, color, which are dispensed from the medium feeder.

摘要: An aqueous emulsion composition that has high adhesion strength for a variety of materials so that it can be used for the adhesive bonding of even molded products and an adherent composition containing the aqueous emulsion composition. The aqueous emulsion composition comprises a carboxyl modified resin of a saponified ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer and a surface active agent. This aqueous emulsion composition can be suitably used as adherent composition, such as an primer and an adhesive, for adhesive bonding a variety of molded products, such as plastic films, plastic sheets, plastic foams, fibers, synthetic leathers and metals. Due to the aqueous composition, the composition can have little risk to catch fire and can provide good sanitation in the environment.
