摘要： A gasket having a concentrically waved metal sheet, i.e., a core member, which has a sheet of sealing-property layered and bonded on each of its opposite surfaces. The gasket has an enhanced adaptability of the sheet material and enables the thinner sheet to be used and at the same time makes it possible to ensure a stable sealing-property for a long period of time with a low to a high fastening-load applied. The metal sheet has valley portions, which were conventionally vacant gaps, and are filled with powdered sealing member to be embedded from the beginning. Therefore, the sheet at the valley portions of the metal sheet that conventionally could not be compressed with a low fastening-load applied can be compressed and even with the low fastening-load applied can secure a fastening surface-pressure over the entire surface. Further, since it is possible to suppress the deformation of the sheet in quantity, which was conventionally large, a sheet made of not only the high-fluidity material but also the low-fluidity material can be used as well as the thinner sheet.

摘要： A secondary air supply system includes a CPU, a ROM, an air supply pipe, and an air amount adjusting valve. One end of the air supply pipe is connected to an air cleaner box and the other end is connected to an exhaust port. Secondary air in the air cleaner box is supplied to the exhaust port through the air supply pipe. An amount of the secondary air to be supplied from the air supply pipe to the exhaust port is adjusted by the air amount adjusting valve. A target air-fuel ratio depending on a state of the engine is stored in the ROM. The CPU controls the air amount adjusting valve based on the state of the engine so that an air-fuel ratio in the exhaust port is the target air-fuel ratio.

摘要： A yarn which is configured by using expanded graphite and polytetrafluoroethylene (PTEE) is provided while improving the yarn so that the expanded graphite functioning as a core member is not exposed and it can be simply produced. The yarn is formed by: forming a base member configured by enveloping an expanded graphite sheet member with a PTEE film, in a state where the PTEE film and the expanded graphite sheet member are aligned with each other in longitudinal direction; and twisting the base member. The base member has an approximately circular sectional shape, and is configured by enveloping the expanded graphite sheet member having a rounded sectional shape with the PTEE film which is rounded in a pipe-like shape.

摘要： A pH sensor having an ISFET is provided on a crystalline substrate of silicon with a thin film of aluminum oxide formed to have epitaxial growth with an overlaying thin film of silicon epitaxial grown on the aluminum oxide layer. A source element and a drain element are provided on the silicon film, and a pH responsive film layer is connected to the source and drain. The pH sensor can be accompanied with appropriate circuitry also integrally formed on the same epitaxial SOI substrate.

The band-like packing base material 11 is shaped into a ring by abutting longitudinal ends 12a and 12b of the packing base material 11 so that a width direction thereof is parallel with a packing axial direction, and is then compressed in the axial direction, whereby the packing base material 11 is overlappedly folded in a packing axial direction, with a longitudinal direction of the packing base material 11 as a direction of folding lines 14.
