    摘要: In an optical information reproduction apparatus, digital information recorded as an optical mark on an optical information recording medium is reproduced in the following manner. A light beam is applied to the recording medium, and the obtained reproduction signal is binarized. The binary reproduction signal is sampled by a sampling clock which is generated by a PLL control signal generator, and is synchronized with the binary reproduction signal so as to reproduce the digital information. The PLL control signal generator achieves synchronization based on the leading and trailing edges of a change point of the binary reproduction signal.

    摘要: Disclosed is a method of seeking a desired track by scanning a recording medium having a plurality of tracks formed thereon by a light spot in a direction across the tracks, and counting track crossing signals detected from the reflected light or the transmitted light of the spot. In this method, of the track crossing signals, only those signals which are detected within a predetermined time inteval are counted as a correct track crossing signal. An apparatus for carrying out such a method is also disclosed.

    摘要: Information is recorded on or reproduced from a hybrid card having an optical recording region and a non-contact type IC memory region connected to a card-side antenna coil. The information recording and/or reproduction is effected by an apparatus including an optical head for scanning the optical recording region with a light beam, a control circuit for exerting tracking and focusing control on the light beam, an apparatus-side antenna coil to be disposed opposite to the card-side antenna coil, a reader/writer for storing information in or reading information from the IC memory region by way of electromagnetic induction coupling between the card-side antenna coil and the apparatus-side antenna coil, and a processing circuit for controlling the operation of the optical head, the control circuit and the reader/writer. The processing circuit controls the read/writer so as not to store information in nor read information from the IC memory region during the period there the control circuit is exerting tracking control or focusing control.

    摘要: In an optical information recording/reproducing apparatus, relative movement between an optical head and an optical information recording medium having a linear track is performed to cause a light beam irradiated by the optical head to follow the information track so as to effect recording/reproduction of information. The apparatus is provided with an ultrasonic wave motor for driving one of the recording medium and the optical head relative to each other. The ultrasonic wave motor is controlled to gradually decrease a drive velocity thereof at the end of a drive operation thereof and to gradually increase the drive velocity thereof at the beginning of the drive operation thereof by properly adjusting an amplitude of a drive signal to be supplied to the ultrasonic wave motor.
