    摘要: An electrostatic chuck is formed using materials that are optically transparent to a range of frequencies, such as infrared radiation. The invention discloses several methods for achieving optical transparency. The chuck electrode can be formed having a mesh pattern designed with a specific open area percentage to provide adequate wafer clamping force while still allowing sufficient levels of infrared radiation to pass through. Alternatively, the chuck electrode can also be made from a transparent conductive film. A workpiece is disposed on one surface of the chuck, and a radiative heat source is positioned on the opposite side of the chuck. A reflector plate may be used to reflect the infrared radiation toward the chuck and the wafer. The spacing of the radiation sources and the shape of the reflector plate may be modified to focus more radiation on a particular portion of the workpiece if desired.

Such isotropic double negative materials offer polarization and direction independent electromagnetic wave propagation.

    摘要: Providing cost model data for tuning query cache memory size in database systems. In one aspect, a query is received, and a query cache is checked for a stored query matching the received query. In response to a cache miss occurring, a token representing the received query is generated and checked for matching a token stored in a simulation area, each stored token representing a query object previously evicted from the query cache. A processing time saved by an avoidance of the cache miss is determined, and a cache size needed to avoid the cache miss is determined only when the generated token matches a stored token, by summing sizes of all query objects represented by the stored tokens. Each stored token is included in a stub that also includes the size of the represented query object and an identification number indicating a stored order.

The program having an internal process configured to read an input value provided by the program, the input value adjusting a performance aspect of the internal process, the internal process configured to provide an output value reflecting changes in the internal process responsive to the input value, the output value readable by the program. The method including writing the output value to a queue stored in memory of the data processing system, selecting a portion of the queue, matching the selected portion of the queue with a predetermined pattern, selecting a type of adjustment to be made to the input value, the type of adjustment corresponding to the matched predetermined pattern, determining a new input value according to the selected type of adjustment, and providing the new value the internal process, the internal process providing a new output value having reduced oscillations responsive to the new input value.

    摘要: A factory installed wiring guide that guides conductors into position for quality termination and crimp and which provides strain relief (support) for the wires or fibers and the outer sheath of the cable to create a quality cable or sub-cable assembly supporting termination at both ends of the cable. The wiring guide is sized to overcome obstacles and fit into conduits during network wiring installation. The wiring guide may be inserted into a cavity on the backside of a RJ45 female connector, completing the termination of a station cable to a RJ45 female jack. The wiring guide may be installed into a plastic housing creating a RJ45 male connector. The wiring guide may be utilized for multiple connections without damaging or compromising the wiring guide and without the need for cutting the wire from the sub-connector. The wiring guide supports universal attachment to either male or female RJ45 connectors.
