摘要： A method of providing access to a secure receptacle to complete a package delivery is implemented through a storage compartment, a central server, a recipient computing device, and a courier computing device. The overall process includes a generation of a one-time key code by the central server upon completion of a purchase order, wherein the recipient computing device completes and transmits the purchase order. The one-time key code is then provided to the storage compartment and the courier computing device. The one-time key code allows a courier that assigned to the courier computing device to unlock the storage compartment and place a purchased product in the storage compartment. This ensures the secure placement of the purchased product. Additionally, when the storage compartment is unlocked through the one-time key code, the recipient computing device is notified that the package delivery process completed.

摘要： A dihydroxyphenyl cross-linked macromolecular network is provided that is useful in artificial tissue and tissue engineering applications, particularly to provide a synthetic macromolecular network for a wide variety of tissue types. In particular, artificial or synthetic cartilage, vocal cord material, vitreous material, soft tissue material and mitral valve material are described. In an embodiment, the network is composed of tyramine-substituted and cross-linked hyaluronan molecules, wherein cross-linking is achieved via peroxidase-mediated dityramine-linkages that can be performed in vivo. The dityramine bonds provide a stable, coherent hyaluronan-based hydrogel with desired physical properties.

The container cap has excellent gas-barrier properties and sealability for containers, and is suitable for packaging containers for foods, medicines, agricultural chemicals, etc.

The encoding algorithms involve the use of orthogonal spatial wavelets, which are preferably discrete attenuation functions of light from different sources so that the discrete attenuation function is imposed upon the spectrum of the light source. The function may be used either merely for providing an encoded channel or by providing a second mask that may be, for example, the complement of the discrete attenuation function so that the light beam is discrete with the first attenuation function.

摘要： A compressive patient warming device is provided. The device includes an elastic inner layer that conforms snugly to a shape of an appendage of a patient so that the inner layer wraps around and substantially contacts most of an underlying surface area of the appendage. An outer layer is attached to and covers the inner layer to form a space that holds a heat transfer medium between the inner layer and the outer layer while the inner layer is wrapped around the appendage. The outer layer may be a rigid layer, and a predetermined compressive load may be applied to the outer layer to encourage blood flow in the appendage. A source of heat may be applied to the device to maintain normothermia and/or treat hypothermia.
