    摘要: The present disclosure is directed toward a downhole tool used to free stuck tools in a wellbore and the method of using the downhole tool. The downhole tool includes at least one packer element for engaging a casing in a wellbore. The packer works to isolate one area of the casing from another. The downhole tool also includes at least one slip element for engaging the casing to maintain the position of the downhole tool in the casing or wellbore. Further, the downhole tool includes a mandrel slidably disposed within the at least one packer element and the at least one slip. The mandrel includes at least one port disposed therein above the at least one packer element when the mandrel is in a first position.

    摘要: A power generation system for generating electricity using a steam turbine engine that yields high-pressure steam has been developed using a preferably non-toxic coolant circulating in a closed loop that passes through a rock and earth aquifer, for directly and/or indirectly condensing the low-pressure steam from the low-pressure side of the steam turbine into a liquid phase for re-circulation to the steam turbine, whereby the coolant acts to dissipate the heat from the low-pressure steam through the aquifer to the rock and earth encasing the aquifer. In one embodiment a containment shroud is employed to recycle condensing water utilized to condense the condensing vapor emitted from a steam condenser. In a second embodiment a sealed steam condenser is utilized through which the low-pressure steam passes, and water (or other suitable fluid) from an enclosed condensing water reservoir, through which the coolant is circulated, is employed to condense the low-pressure steam in the steam condenser. In yet another embodiment, the coolant is introduced directly into the steam condenser. In a further embodiment an intermediate refrigeration system pump is employed together with the coolant, for condensing the low-pressure steam.

    摘要: In methods and apparatus for providing suppressed ringing access to a subscriber line, a connection request is sent from a server to a telecommunications switch and the switch performs a connection routine in response to the connection request to connect the server to the subscriber line. The connection routine is adapted to avoid audible ringing of a telephone set connected to the subscriber line. The connection request comprises a signal indicating a subscriber line to which the server is to be connected and a signal indicating that suppressed ringing access to that subscriber line is desired. The methods and apparatus avoid the need for especially provisioned trunks between the server and the terminating switches by including in the connection request a signal indicating that suppressed ringing is desired and by making the telecommunications switch responsive to that signal.

The receptacle member 12 has housing means 14 including an inner body portion 22 and two opposed outer side walls 24, which together define elongate cavities 36 between inner body section 22 and respective outer side walls 24; and a plurality of first contact terminal members 40 disposed in inner body portion 22 and a plurality of second contact terminal members 46 disposed in the elngate cavities 36. The pin header 60 includes a housing member 62 having a plurality of third electrical contact terminal members 78 disposed therein and adapted to mate with the first terminal members and at least one ground bus member 92 disposed continuously along at least one side of pin header housing 62, the bus member 92 being adapted to be received in one of the respective elongate cavities 36 of receptacle member 12 and electrically engage the second terminal members 46 therein, when the receptacle member 12 and pin header 60 are mated.

According to one aspect of the invention, a computer is coupled to the plurality of UPS devices through the network and monitors the states of the UPS devices by using a UPS devices monitoring icon. The UPS monitoring icon takes on various shapes depending on the status or state of one or more UPS devices being monitored and generally acts as an annunciator to the status or state. For example, the UPS monitoring icon 500 can take on one of four symbols depending on whether the UPS devices are operating normally or one or more UPS devices have been diagnosed as being in a “critical” state, a “warning” state or an “unknown” state.
