The disclosure provides a storage medium, an expansion base and an operation method thereof combined with a portable electronic device. The portable electronic device is pre-installed with an application program and includes a touch screen. The expansion base is paired with the portable electronic device and accommodates the portable electronic device. When the portable electronic device is accommodated inside the expansion base, a touch window on the surface of the expansion base exposes at least a portion of the touch screen, and the portable electronic device executes the application program to automatically adjust a size or a display position of a display image of the touch screen to correspond to the touch window.

Systems and methods of a safety belt to be worn by individuals in the course of physical activities such as walking, running, biking, etc. Safety belts of the inventive subject matter include one or more sensors that are used to develop a kinematic status of the individual wearing the safety belt. Kinematic status information can be broadcast out wirelessly, and it can be used to determine whether to generate an alert. Some embodiments of the safety belt can detect the presence of a hazard in the vicinity of an individual wearing the safety belt.

A method is described which includes providing a substrate and forming a first spacer material layer abutting a gate structure on the substrate. A second spacer material layer is formed adjacent and abutting the gate structure and overlying the first spacer material layer. The first spacer material layer and the second spacer material layer are then etched concurrently to form first and second spacers, respectively. An epitaxy region is formed (e.g., grown) on the substrate which includes an interface with each of the first and second spacers. The second spacer may be subsequently removed and the first spacer remain on the device decreases the aspect ratio for an ILD gap fill. An example composition of the first spacer is SiCN.

This invention provides capsules and, more specifically soft capsules, wherein the fill material comprises an emulsified syrup. In particular, the present invention provides a means of encapsulating honey in a gelatin, modified-gelatin or gelatin-free shell material. Furthermore, the capsules described herein are capable of being manufactured using a rotary die apparatus.

Voice processing methods and systems are provided. An utterance is received. The utterance is compared with teaching materials according to at least one matching algorithm to obtain a plurality of matching values corresponding to a plurality of voice units of the utterance. Respective voice units are scored in at least one first scoring item according to the matching values and a personified voice scoring algorithm. The personified voice scoring algorithm is generated according to training utterances corresponding to at least one training sentence in a phonetic-balanced sentence set of a plurality of learners and at least one real teacher, and scores corresponding to the respective voice units of the training utterances of the learners in the first scoring item provided by the real teacher.

A user token management system in a client device on a network comprises an obtaining module, a web controller and a processing module. The obtaining module obtains a user token from a database in response to a retrieving request for retrieving authorization of a web service provider on the network. The web controller transmits an authenticating request for authenticating the user token to the web service provider and receives an authentication result authenticating the user token. The processing module deletes the user token from the database when that user token is not authenticated by the web service provider.

A supporting structure is applied to a backlight module including several optical sheets. The supporting structure includes a fixing component and a supporting component. The fixing component has a through-hole and an opening connected to each other. The supporting component includes a supporting pin, a block, a plate and a protrusion. The supporting pin has a top end for supporting the optical sheets and a bottom end at which the block is disposed. The plate is disposed on the supporting pin. The protrusion is disposed on the plate and faces the bottom end. After the block goes through the through-hole and rotates an angle, the plate and the block respectively press against upper and lower surfaces of the fixing component for clamping the fixing component. The protrusion is engaged in the opening for positioning the supporting component, so that the supporting component is fixed onto the fixing component.
