摘要: A wire tracing system includes a voltage output source having a director circuit with a plurality of output channels. Each of the output channels outputs a unique voltage signature. A voltage reader/data recorder includes a conductive probe and a data memory that is partitioned into a plurality of data bins. Each of the data bins in the voltage reader/data recorder is associated with one of the voltage signatures output via the output channels of the director circuit, and each of the data bins is configured to store information associated with each of a plurality of wires to which the output channels are respectively connectable. The system and method permit a single individual to rapidly discover the identities of individual wires and cables without having to repeatedly travel back and forth between those extremities.

摘要: One embodiment of a temple protection device that is designed to be worn underneath the wearer's hat or baseball cap. The device has a two-sided hard plate shell (18) comprised of rigid protective material. One side of the device has a clamp (22) that is used to attach the temple protection device to the sweat band of the wearer's cap. The opposite side of the temple protection device fits against the wearer's head and may have padding (26, 28, 30) attached thereto. At the base of the hard plate shell (18) there is a temple protection flap (20) that protrudes from under the wearer's cap to cover temple area that is not under the wearer's cap. Other embodiments are described as shown.

摘要: An apparatus and method of coating and/or lining of the interior of pipes and tubular goods with a performance enhancing layer of metal alloy using a 360° radiant heat source. The use of the disclosed apparatus and methods facilitates the capability to metallurgically bond a layer of metal alloy or composite material to the interior of a steel pipe or similar metal based tubular good with a primary diameter ranging typically from 1.5″ to 8″. The disclosed apparatus and methods are especially useful to produce piping used in the conveyance and/or transportation of hot, corrosive and/or abrasive fluids in the oil and gas, and mining Industries.

摘要: In certain embodiments, a steerable drilling tool is provided including a rotatable shaft extending through a housing where the shaft and the housing are separated by at least one bearing or two sets of bearings, the shaft having a first portion terminating at a first end of the shaft and a second portion terminating at a second end of the shaft. The steerable drilling tool may further include a drill bit structure operatively coupled to the first portion and a steering subsystem comprising a pair of bearings operatively coupled to the first portion. The steering subsystem may be configured to angulate the shaft by exerting force substantially through the pair of bearings. In certain embodiments, the first portion is between the first end and about one-third of the length of the shaft from the first end towards the second end.

摘要: An electrocoagulation treatment device includes a plurality of spaced reaction plates disposed within a reaction chamber. A voltage is applied to selected reaction plates to create an electrical field within the electrocoagulation chamber. The plates are arranged vertically which induces a vertical flow of liquid through a device. The voltage and amperage of the electrical field chamber may be adjusted by placing selected reaction plates in electrical contact with the voltage source. One embodiment is adapted for treatment of fluid containing soluble or particulate organic compounds recalcitrant to biodegradation, including nitrogenous contaminants, such as ammonia or an ammonium compounds. The device and method of the invention include the use of an oxidizing agent such as sodium hypochlorite or hydrogen peroxide to aid in the removal of organic contaminants.
