摘要: A headband for reversible mounting of headsets, wherein the headset can be used on either side of the wearer's head. The headband may include two adjustably connected portions, for adapting to the wearer's head. On one side, the headband has a fitting for a headset. The fitting may include a plurality of tabs surrounding a substantially circular cavity. The headset may be mounted to the headband by fitting at least a part of the headset inside the cavity, wherein the headset is held in place by the tabs. The tabs may be arranged to allow the headset to extend therebetween, and they may allow the headset to be adjusted as desired by the wearer.

摘要: A negative pressure wound therapy apparatus includes a wound dressing for forming a substantially fluid-tight seal over a wound to define a reservoir over the wound in which a negative pressure may be maintained. A vacuum source is in fluid communication with the reservoir to provide an appropriate negative pressure to the reservoir to stimulate healing of the wound. The apparatus includes a fluid conduit in fluid communication with the reservoir and defining a fluid flow path for carrying fluids from the reservoir, and a fluid line coupling adapted for selective engagement and disengagement of first and second coupling segments to respectively maintain and interrupt the fluid flow path.

摘要: A scanning apparatus providing separate fixed object focal planes for transmissive and reflective original documents to be scanned, wherein a scan carriage containing illumination, sensor, and optical elements is moved together to scan an original document and to obtain a digitized representation thereof. The movable scan carriage has an illumination source disposed between the reflective and transmissive object focal planes, with the object focal plane to be used selected by changing the position of a single mirror by a linear distance equal to the separation between the two object focal planes.
