    摘要: A method for the return of blood from a blood treatment apparatus, preferably from a dialysis apparatus, uses a pumped substituate fluid to displace the blood. A substituate pump contained in the treatment apparatus displaces the blood by means of the correspondingly transported substituate fluid until it is detected in corresponding detectors that substituate fluid is flowing back in the line instead of blood. Once the transported substituate fluid has been detected, the blood volume is further displaced in a controlled manner until it has reached the line outlet of the corresponding line.

    摘要: A method is provided for monitoring the introduction of substitution fluids for an extra-corporeal blood processing device with an extra-corporeal blood circuit, comprising an arterial blood line, running from an arterial patient connection to a first chamber of a dialyzer or filter divided into said first chamber and a second chamber by a membrane and a venous blood line, running from the first chamber of the dialyzer or filter to a venous patient connection. A device is provided for monitoring the introduction of substitution fluids for an extra-corporeal blood processing unit with an extra-corporeal blood circuit and an extra-corporeal blood processing device with a device for monitoring the introduction of substitution fluids. The method and the device for monitoring the introduction of substitution fluids are based on monitoring the fluid level in the bubble trap, arranged in the venous blood line of the extra-corporeal blood circuit. The method and the device require that fluid is added to fill the extra-corporeal blood circuit, for example, for a rinsing procedure of the extra-corporeal blood circuit by means of the substitution fluid supply line arranged upstream or downstream of the dialyzer. A pre-dilution can be commanded when, after initiating the rinsing process the fill level in the bubble trap does not drop below a certain level. When by contrast the fill level drops below a given level a post-dilution can be commanded.

The method and device make provision, apart from balancing the fluids as a function of the weights of the containers, for the measurement of the weight reduction or increase of at least one of the containers in the time interval in which the pump assigned to the respective container performs a preset number of revolutions or pump strokes. The change in the weight of the container for a half or one pump revolution can be determined. The delivery rate of the respective pump is ascertained from the measured weight reduction or increase in the specific time interval, thereby permitting the precise determination of the actual delivery rate of one or more pumps. The actual delivery rates of all the pumps are preferably monitored.
