    摘要: A method of manufacturing a mask for depositing a thin film is disclosed. In one embodiment, the method includes i) providing a raw material substrate for a deposition mask; ii) removing a portion of the raw material substrate to form a pattern, wherein a plurality of openings are defined in the pattern; and iii) irradiating at least a laser beam onto the openings of the pattern at an inclination angle with respect to the raw material substrate such that inclined portions are formed at the side surfaces of each of the openings of the pattern.

The first outermost sides have a first curvature and are recessed inwardly with respect to the first and the nth initially designed patterns. The second outermost sides have a second curvature and protrude outwardly with respect to the first through nth initially designed patterns.

    摘要: In a mask assembly and a method of fabricating the same, when the mask assembly is fabricated by tensile welding a pattern mask to a mask frame, a tensile welding portion of the pattern mask welded to the mask frame is structurally changed. Thus, the pattern mask can be easily welded to the mask frame, and patterns of the pattern mask can be precisely aligned, thereby minimizing stain failure rate due to the mask assembly. The mask assembly includes: a mask frame including an opening and a support; and a pattern mask including a pattern portion having a plurality of patterns arranged in a matrix and a plurality of tensile welding portions extending from the pattern portion in a first direction and spaced apart from each other in a second direction perpendicular to the first direction. The method includes: providing a mask frame, a support, and a pattern mask as described above; disposing the pattern mask and the mask frame in a unique manner; combining the pattern mask with the mask frame by welding; measuring an aligned state of the pattern arranged in the first direction of the pattern mask; and welding a tensile welding portion using a secondary welding process according to an aligned state.

    摘要: Embodiments of the present disclosure provide an organic electroluminescence display device. The display device may include a set of multi-directional spacers that are interposed between the pixels of the display. In one embodiment, the spacers are positioned in both lengthwise and crosswise directions. In another embodiment, the spacers include a first portion that is extends lengthwise between pixels and one or more portions that extend laterally from the first portion between pixels. In yet another embodiment, the spacers include portions that extend in multiple directions between pixels. The spacers may substantially surround each of the pixels and may serve as a boundary, for example, that prevents organic material for one pixel from being incorrectly deposited in another pixel. The spacers can be configured as a support structure, such as, for a metal mask during fabrication of the display device. In addition, the multi-directional aspect of the spacers may be useful in protecting the pixels from damage, such as, when a metal mask is moved during mounting or during fabrication of the display device.
