摘要: Electronic devices are provided that contain wireless communications circuitry. The wireless communications circuitry may include radio-frequency transceiver circuitry and antenna structures. The antenna structures may include antennas such as inverted-F antennas that contain antenna resonating elements and antenna ground elements. Antenna resonating elements may be formed from patterned conductive traces on substrates such as flex circuit substrates. Antenna ground elements may be formed from conductive device structures such as metal housing walls. Support and biasing structures such as dielectric support members and layer of foam may be used to support and bias antenna resonating elements against planar device structures. The planar device structures against which the antenna resonating elements are biased may be planar dielectric members such as transparent layers of display cover glass or other planar structures. Adhesive may be interposed between the planar structures and the antenna resonating elements.

摘要: A channel memory length selection method for wireless communication systems is provided. The method comprises estimating an initial channel impulse response (CIR) for the wireless communication system; determining a first refined CIR with a first group of taps and a second refined CIR with a second group of taps based upon the initial CIR, number of the second group of taps being less than number of the first group of taps; and selecting either the number of the first group of taps or the number of the second group of taps as the channel memory length according to an energy concentration criterion in regard to the first refined CIR and the second refined CIR.

摘要: The present invention discloses a burst detection apparatus and method. The burst detection apparatus of the present invention comprises a power module, a soft-metric RMS module, and a quality determination module. The bust detection method comprises the following steps: At first, a reciprocal value of the received signal's power is calculated. Next, a RMS value of the soft-metrics according to the received signal is computed. At last, a product of the reciprocal value and the RMS value is compared with a given threshold value to generate a Boolean outcome as a quality determination decision. If the product of these values is lower than the given threshold value, it means the received signal is believed as noise; otherwise, it is believed as the real signal.

Both the 1st and 2nd interwound windings are on the same layer of the integrated circuit. Each interwound winding includes two nodes; one of node of each winding is commonly coupled to a reference potential. The other node of each winding is operably coupled to receive a respective leg of a differential signal.
