摘要: A preload measuring device for a double row rolling bearing unit includes an outer bearing ring member having double rows of outer ring raceways on an inner circumferential surface, an inner bearing ring member having double rows of inner ring raceways on an outer circumferential surface, rolling elements rollably arranged between the outer ring raceways and the inner ring raceways in each of the rows such that contact angles given to the respective rows are opposite to one another, axial displacement measuring means for obtaining an axial relative displacement between the outer bearing ring member and the inner bearing ring member, inclination angle measuring means for obtaining an inclination angle between center axes of the outer bearing ring member and the inner bearing ring member, and preload calculating means for obtaining a preload applied to the rolling elements based on the inclination angle and the axial relative displacement.

摘要: A rolling bearing with sensor has an inner ring, an outer ring, rolling elements rollably disposed between the inner ring and the outer ring, a sensor provided on one of the inner ring and the outer ring and a detection member provided on the other of the inner ring and the outer ring radially opposed to the sensor which is adapted to be sensed by the sensor. A first retaining member is fixed to the outer ring end surface of the outer ring and retains one of the sensor and the detection member. A second retaining member is fixed to the inner ring end surface of the inner ring and retains the other of the sensor and the detection member. At least one of the inner end surface and the outer end surface is arranged so as to be pressed axially without the sensor or the detection member.

摘要: A catalytic combustion apparatus has a cylindrical housing defining a fluid passage, and a plurality of combustion catalyst bodies arranged face to face along the fluid passage in the cylindrical housing. The catalyst bodies are loosely fitted in the cylindrical housing. Each catalyst body defines numerous bores extending along the fluid passage. The cylindrical housing includes holders extending inwardly of the housing for contacting end surfaces of the catalyst bodies to prevent movement thereof along the fluid passage.

摘要: A process for the direct reduction of iron oxide by blowing into a reduction furnace a reducing gas which is prepared by reforming a mixture of a reduction furnace exhaust gas and a gas mainly composed of methane, which comprises the steps of dividing the gas mainly composed of methane into two branch streams, mixing the first branch stream gas with a part of the reduction furnace exhaust gas and supplying the resulting mixture to the externally heated reformer furnace, to produce a high-temperature reformed gas; mixing the second branch stream gas with said high-temperature reformed gas and during the course to the reduction furnace, subjecting the mixture to endothermic reforming reactions in an after-reactor without external heating, utilizing the sensible heat of the high-temperature mixed gas, controlling the self-reforming reactions so as to lower the temperature and simultaneously adjust the composition of the high-temperature mixed gas, and blowing the reducing gas obtained into the reduction furnace. Effective use of the sensible heat can be achieved.

摘要: Disclosed is a semiconductor memory device includes two equalizing elements, each connected between a pair of bit lines and being separately subjected to on/off control by respective control signals. When performing a test, one of the control signals is kept HIGH and the other of the control signal is kept LOW during a precharge period, and activation/deactivation of the two equalizing elements is separately controlled. A failure such as a defect in one of the two equalizing elements subjected to the on/off control by the control signal can be thereby detected.
