摘要: An assembly includes a cast cartridge component that includes a base plate having an opening configured for receipt of a turbine wheel, a cylindrical wall that comprises a shroud portion, one or more supports disposed between the cylindrical wall and the base plate, an exhaust conduit that has an inlet, an outlet and a wastegate opening positioned intermediate the inlet and the outlet, and a substantially planar surface integral to the exhaust conduit, the wastegate opening located on the planar surface; and a wastegate outlet component that includes a cylindrical portion that extends between and defines an inlet and an outlet, and a cover portion configured to cover the substantially planar surface of the cast cartridge component to form a wastegate chamber where one or more openings provide for flow of exhaust from the wastegate chamber to the cylindrical portion. Various other examples of devices, assemblies, systems, methods, etc., are also disclosed.

摘要: A turbocharger cartridge and engine cylinder head assembly includes a turbocharger cartridge having a center housing defining a bore therethrough, bearings housed in the bore, a shaft rotatably supported in the bearings, a compressor wheel affixed to one end of the shaft, and a turbine wheel affixed to an opposite end of the shaft. The engine cylinder head defines a receptacle in which the turbocharger cartridge is disposed. The cartridge defines a cartridge oil circuit and the engine cylinder head defines an engine oil circuit. An oil circuit connector plug is removably installed in a socket in the head, the plug defining a connector passage that mates up with an oil supply conduit in the engine cylinder head and with an oil supply passage in the center housing such that oil is conducted from the oil supply conduit through the connector passage to the bore.

摘要: An assembly includes a cast cartridge component and a curved wall where the cast cartridge includes a base plate having an opening configured for receipt of a turbine wheel, an exhaust conduit having an inlet and an outlet, a cylindrical wall, and vanes disposed between the cylindrical wall and the base plate where adjacent vanes define throats; where the curved wall includes a proximal end and a distal end, and an upper edge and a lower edge; and where joinder of the proximal end and the outlet of the exhaust conduit, joinder of the upper edge and the cylindrical wall and joinder of the lower edge and the base plate forms a volute configured to direct exhaust received via the inlet to a turbine wheel via the throats. Various other examples of devices, assemblies, systems, methods, etc., are also disclosed.

摘要: A turbocharger includes a thin-walled insert installed in the bore of the turbine housing. The insert is generally ring-shaped and is radially resilient. The insert can be made of sheet metal formed into a ring shape, and in some embodiments is a split ring. A piston is axially slidable in the bore for varying the size of the turbine nozzle. The outer surface of the piston slides against the inner surface of the insert, and in preferred embodiments a piston ring that encircles the piston engages the inner surface of the insert to substantially seal the interface between the insert and the piston.

摘要: According to certain embodiments of the present invention, there is disclosed herein a method and system of recovering concrete which includes admitting a concrete slurry to a tank, pressurizing the tank with a fluid under pressure, discharging through a discharge line the pressurized fluid-slurry from the tank, cleaning the tank by admitting a cleaning liquid into the tank after discharging fluid-slurry therefrom, and discharging the cleaning liquid from the tank through the discharge line for cleaning purposes.

摘要: A turbocharger assembly includes a center housing rotating assembly, which comprises a center housing, bearings housed in the center housing, a shaft rotatably supported in the bearings, and compressor and turbine wheels affixed to opposite ends of the shaft; an engine cylinder head and a housing member formed together as a one-piece integral structure, wherein the housing member defines a compressor volute that receives compressed air from the compressor wheel, a turbine volute for receiving exhaust gas from the engine, a turbine nozzle for directing exhaust gas from the turbine volute into the turbine wheel, and a turbine contour; a compressor contour plug that defines an axial inlet for the compressor and a compressor contour; and a wastegate unit operable for allowing exhaust gas to bypass the turbine wheel when the wastegate unit is open and preventing exhaust gas from bypassing the turbine wheel when the wastegate unit is closed.

摘要: The disclosure is directed to a new software component, an enterprise application server component such as an enterprise bean, called a “functional bean,” which models a business method, and accords transactional persistence. The functional bean can be developed as a derived object from an enterprise bean class, and can call other beans to execute a transaction.A client initiates a transaction by requesting a container using an EJBObject of an appropriate functional bean type. A Service Manager bean handles an appropriate instance of a functional bean. After the Service Manager creates and returns the requested handle to the client, the client thereafter can access the functional bean directly. In this way, transactional awareness to the client is achieved.In a second embodiment, the Service Manager is implemented as a stateless session bean, and other functional beans are implemented as entity beans.
