    摘要: A surgical instrument of the present invention comprises: an insertion unit, an operation unit provided at the proximal end side of the insertion unit, and a treatment unit provided at the other end of the insertion unit and having a clamping unit that can rotate about one axis and can perform an opening and closing action and a bending action. The operation unit comprises: an opening and closing lever for performing the operation of opening and closing the treatment unit, an angle variation dial for performing the operation of bending the treatment unit, and a rotation dial for performing the operation of rotating the treatment unit. The angle variation dial and rotation dial are provided within the operation range of the same operation finger.

    摘要: An endoscope includes an operation section and an insertion section extending from the operation section. The insertion section has a plurality of insertion holes extending in its axial direction. The insertion holes have outlet openings open to the distal end portion of the insertion section and inlet openings open to the proximal end portion of the insertion section. One of the inlet openings is open to the proximal end face of the insertion section, and the remaining openings are open to the outer periphery of the insertion section. An image guide and a light guide inserted into the insertion holes extend from the inlet openings located at the outer periphery of the insertion section toward the outside thereof.

    摘要: A surgical microscope system having a stereoscopic optical system, an imaging unit, and a monitor display. The stereoscopic optical system has two optical paths and forms a 3D image of an object. The imaging unit forms two images of the object from two light beams focused in the optical paths. The monitor display displays the images of the object which the imaging unit has formed. The surgical microscope system further comprises an observation-light receiving section located in the optical paths for determining an observation field, an observation-light emitting section located in the monitor display for applying the images formed by the imaging unit, and reflectors arranged between the observation-light receiving section and the observation-light emitting section. The observation-light receiving and the observation-light emitting sections are located close to each other and a barrel holds the sections together. Images displayed on the monitor display are projected such that the observer perceives a 3-dimensional virtual image located at a distance from the observer equal to the actual distance between the observer and the object.

    摘要: An endoscope forceps stopcock has a cylindrical body. The body has a lower engagement section detachably fitted to an insertion mouthpiece of an endoscope, and an upper engagement section to which a cap is detachably fitted. The body and cap are connected to each other by a coupling member. A valve section is formed in the body between the engagement sections to close an insertion channel and provided with a pushing section and an insertion section allowing for the insertion of medical operation instruments. The pushing section presses the cap in accordance with the extent of the deformation of the valve section when the pressure in the insertion channel is increased, thereby holding the cap in cooperation with the upper engagement section.
