    摘要: The invention discloses a multilayered photosensitive material for processing into a flexographic printing plate by direct patterning with an infrared laser beam. The multilayered material comprises: (A) a substrate; (B) a photosensitive resinous layer having sensitivity to light excepting infrared light and comprising (b1) an elastomeric binder resin, (b2) a polymerizable monomeric compound and (b3) a polymerization initiator formed on the substrate (A); (C) a barrier layer of a composition comprising a resin such as a polyvinyl pyrrolidone and alkali-soluble cellulose compounds, which transmits light other than infrared light and is removable in the development treatment, formed on the photosensitive resinous layer (B); and (D) a masking layer of a composition comprising (d1) a film-forming binder resin, (d2) an infrared absorbing compound and (d3) a compound having no transmissivity to lights other than infrared light and removable by irradiation with an infrared laser beam, formed on the barrier layer (C).

    摘要: Delay time variation in an optical fiber digital communication system which includes optical regenerative repeaters is measured at one of terminal ends having reference clock signal. A monitor signal which depends upon the delay time variation is provided at the farthest repeater in an area where delay time is subject to secular change by dividing reference clock signal from said terminal end, and said monitor signal is returned to the terminal end from said farthest repeater, and the terminal end compares the returned monitor signal with the divided reference signal by using a phase comparator to provide measure of delay time variation.

    摘要: An optical switch for switching laser beams, having a transparent glass plate with a reflection film on the surface of the same has been found. When the reflection film is at the first position, the first input beam is coupled with the output beam through the transparent glass plate, while the second input beam is prevented by said reflection film. When the reflection film is at the second position, the first input beam is prevented by said reflection film, and the second input beam is coupled with the output beam through the reflection by said reflection film. Thus, according to the displacement of the transparent glass plate together with the reflection film, the input beams are switched. Due to the above operational principle, the output optical level does not decrease even during the transient time, and then, the present optical switch is utilized in an optical repeater for digital communication.

    摘要: The operational reliability of a light source in an optical communication system has been increased by an improved redundant arrangement of light sources and the switching arrangement of the same. The present light source arrangement comprises a plurality of light sources each of which provides a different wavelength from one another, an electrical switch for actuating the selected one of the light sources, said electrical switch being arranged to replace the actuated light source when there is something wrong with the light source in operation, and an optical multiplexer the input of which is coupled to the outputs of the light sources, and the output of the optical multiplexer is connected to an optical fiber cable.

    摘要: An optical transmission repeater with high operational reliability comprises of a plurality of light sources for transmitting an optical energy into an optical fiber, an optical connector for introducing the optical energy from each of said light sources to an optical transmission line, and a switching circuit for selectively operating only one light source. When a light source in operation is deteriorated, the light source in operation is switched to another light source by said switch. Thus, high operational reliability of an optical repeater is obtained although each of light sources have a low operational reliability.

    摘要: An eyeglass-shaped frame includes: a pair of temples; a connecting bar connecting ends of the pair of temples; a shaft hanging from a middle of the connecting bar; nose pads fixed to the shaft; a pair of holding frames holding vertically arranged optical members; a bridge connecting the pair of holding frames; and a slider allowing the holding frames to slide vertically in front of the connecting bar. The bridge is provided at a position lower than a center of the lower optical member of the holding frames. The holding frames are slidable for a distance at least corresponding to a distance between a center of an upper optical member and the center of the lower optical member.
