    摘要: An intramedullary system for securing portions of a bone together has a lag screw assembly extending through a radial bore in an intramedullary nail. The lag screw is inserted into one portion of a bone and deployed to fix the leading end. The intramedullary nail is placed in the intramedullary canal of a portion of the bone and the trailing end of the lag screw assembly is adjustably fixed in the radial bore to provide compression between the lag screw assembly and the intramedullary nail. The intramedullary nail has a cap screw in the proximal end holding the lag screw assembly and a tang in the distal end. The tang has legs extending through the nail to fix the distal end in the intramedullary canal.

    摘要: This device addresses the treatment of femoral neck trauma which includes basilar, mid-cervical and sub-cap fractures. The assembly has a lag screw assembly, side plate, compression screw and cortical screw, which are implantable. A syringe adaptor instrument delivers ortho-biologic material to the fracture site through the lag screw assembly. The lag screw assembly utilizes a cannulated screw with external threads and deployable tangs to anchor into the femoral head and is implanted in such a manner as to have the lag screw threads and tangs located on the opposite side of the fracture from the side plate. The distal shaft of the lag screw interfaces with the side plate in a manner which allows axial translation only. To deliver ortho-biologic material to the fracture site, the syringe adaptor instrument is inserted into the cannulated lag screw prior to the installation of the compression screw and the material is forced through it and out exit holes located circumferentially around the lag screw between the fracture site and the deployable tangs.

    摘要: A marine vessel, typically a power boat, lifting system includes a remotely operated transmitter module, a receiver module, a level sensing module, a motor control module, and motors are integrated to automatically position a cradle to the desired position relative to the waterline of the marine vessel. The lifting system is initialized by a signal input, a button pushed and released, from either the remote transmitter or the motor control module to begin movement of the lifting cradle to a desired position. The received signal initiates the motors, and a light to indicate energized motors through a visual signal, to move in the desired direction, either lifting or lowering the cradle. The level sensing module returns a signal to the motor control module to terminate the motors, and thus the visual indicator, when the desired cradle position has been reached.

    摘要: A rod bending device using a combination of a movable mandrel and two moving rollers, between which mandrel and which rollers the rod bending is effected, the movements of which mandrel and rollers are effected simultaneously by the same power system and by a single power stroke. The power system, preferably a hydraulic system, effects movement of the movable mandrel which in turn simultaneously effects movement of two arms which support the movable rollers. This simultaneous movement of the mandrel and the rollers effects the bending of the rod which is positioned between the mandrel and the rollers. The curvature and the degree of the bending are determined by the shape of the mandrel, the positioning of the rollers on the supporting arms and the extent of the revolution of the arms about the individual fulcrums on which the respective arms are revolved.
