    摘要: An intramedullary system for securing portions of a bone together has a lag screw assembly extending through a radial bore in an intramedullary nail. The lag screw is inserted into one portion of a bone and deployed to fix the leading end. The intramedullary nail is placed in the intramedullary canal of a portion of the bone and the trailing end of the lag screw assembly is adjustably fixed in the radial bore to provide compression between the lag screw assembly and the intramedullary nail. The intramedullary nail has a cap screw in the proximal end holding the lag screw assembly and a tang in the distal end. The tang has legs extending through the nail to fix the distal end in the intramedullary canal.

    摘要: A marine vessel, typically a power boat, lifting system includes a remotely operated transmitter module, a receiver module, a level sensing module, a motor control module, and motors are integrated to automatically position a cradle to the desired position relative to the waterline of the marine vessel. The lifting system is initialized by a signal input, a button pushed and released, from either the remote transmitter or the motor control module to begin movement of the lifting cradle to a desired position. The received signal initiates the motors, and a light to indicate energized motors through a visual signal, to move in the desired direction, either lifting or lowering the cradle. The level sensing module returns a signal to the motor control module to terminate the motors, and thus the visual indicator, when the desired cradle position has been reached.

    摘要: The present disclosure is directed to a method and system for providing and transferring aviation data. In one embodiment, a machine-readable optical representation of the aviation data may be generated and displayed onboard the aircraft. This machine-readable optical representation may be scanned/read using a handheld device, therefore allowing the data to be topically transferred to the handheld device. The handheld device may automatically populate any forms that the user would otherwise need to fill out manually. Additionally and/or alternatively, the handheld device may provide the aviation data to an off-aircraft device and/or personnel utilizing its own communication channel.

    摘要: A securing device comprises an axially reciprocable drive shaft which has a head adapted to pass forwards through a detent plate. The head is adapted to engage the plate after rotation. A cam slot is defined in a drive housing and is engageable by a cam follower carried on the drive shaft. The cam slot has two end portions extending parallel to the axis of the drive shaft and an oblique intermediate part such that the drive shaft is rotated when the follower moves along the intermediate part and the drive shaft moves only axially when the follower moves along either of the end portions. A subsea assembly including the securing device includes a fixed stab plate including a central collar, and a free stab plate having an aperture through which said collar extends, the collar including an chamber defined by the detent plate.
