    摘要: There is provided an apparatus for a folding table assembly comprising a lifting assist center torsion bar assembly, a lift off caster assembly and a stability locking mechanism. A folding table assembly with a lifting assist mechanism provides a lifting assist force during a portion of the folding process of a foldable table from an unfolded use position to a folded storage position. A lift off caster assembly maintains an unfolded table assembly in a stationary position and prevents the unfolded table from wandering or deviating from its original location on the floor. There is also provided a stability locking mechanism that can set the folding table in a folded and stable semi-closed position.

    摘要: A personal binding machine for assembling a preformed coil into a stack of prepunched sheets which includes a loading tube assembly that properly orients the coil to be driven into the stack of sheets, a drive assembly which drives the coil into the stack of sheets, and crimping assemblies for crimping the ends of the coil once inserted into the sheets. The drive assembly includes a three surface contact system having a coil guide substantially adjacent the edge of the stack of sheets, a drive roller and an idler roller. While the coil guide is stationary within the housing, the location of the drive and idler rollers may be adjusted via a camming system to accommodate various coil sizes. The crimping assemblies include a cradle and blade mechanism wherein the blade presses an end of the coil into a cradle to bend or crimp the end. The drive roller may alternately be directly accessed to manually drive the coil through a stack of sheets.

    摘要: A cordless electric device has a main body portion extending along an axis and a handle portion extending at an obtuse angle with respect to the axis, the handle portion receiving therein along a second axis a battery pack. The device has a two-part housing, with the parts respectively defining the front and rear of the body and handle portions. The front housing part has latching shoulders respectively disposed on the opposite sides thereof, with each defining a first latching surface disposed substantially parallel to the first axis, while the battery pack has two identical latching members respectively disposed on opposite sides thereof and each resiliently displaceable between latching and release positions, each latching member having two second latching surfaces thereon in a V-shaped configuration, so that one of said second latching surfaces on each of said latching members is disposed substantially parallel to the first axis for engagement with the first latching surface of the corresponding latching shoulder to latch the battery back in place on the device. The latching members are interchangeable and molding of the forward housing part is facilitated.

    摘要: Disclosed is a wet/dry carpet cleaner having a large tank assembly for fluids. A bladder containing fresh or cleaning water is positioned in the large tank. Nozzles for dispensing the cleaning water to a brush, a vacuum nozzle for vacuuming and returning soiled fluid to the recovery tank portion of the tank assembly is also provided. The present invention includes the method of securing a brush head assembly pivotably to the chassis assembly and includes the driving motor, rotating brush, and spray mechanism. The pivotal securement results in the weight of the brush head assembly applying a constant force on the brush throughout the entire cleaning cycle, independent of the amount of fluid contained in the recovery tank or the bladder. Also, the method is addressed to configuring and proportioning the bladder to insure a relatively constant load on the nozzle. By balancing the nozzle loading and, therefore, the downward pressure per square inch on the nozzle throughout the cycle compensation results for fluid loss or fluid re-distribution. With the brush loading remaining constant throughout the cycle, consistency is maintained during the entire period while the carpet is being cleaned.

    摘要: Disclosed is a wet/dry carpet cleaner having a large tank assembly for fluids. A bladder containing fresh or cleaning water is positioned in the large tank for dispensing the cleaning water to a brush.     摘要: A power tool with a two-part housing has a drive motor with a pinion gear on the motor shaft. A plastic cylindrical ring gear is fixed to the motor in coaxial surrounding relationship with the pinion gear and has attachment lugs which fit between the two parts of the tool housing and are fixedly secured to each. A plastic gear carrier frame is insert molded on a splined end of a metal output shaft and is receivable within the ring gear and has radial slots for respectively receiving pins which respectively rotatably mount three planet gears in meshing engagement with the pinion gear and the ring gear. The carrier frame has a hollow stub shaft portion which receives the pinion gear therethrough, the stub shaft portion having an elastomeric O-ring seated in a circumferential groove therein for press-fitting a ball bearing thereon, the ball bearing being in turn press-fitted in a seat in the ring gear to support the planet gear assembly.
