    摘要: Chloramphenicol derivatives are provided for use in the preparing of antigen conjugates for the production of antibodies specifically for chloramphenicol. Specifically, the aryl amino group is derivatized to introduce a non-oxo-carbonyl group which is used for amide formation with an antigen. The conjugate is then injected into a vertebrate for production of antisera which is isolated in conventional ways and find particular use in competitive protein binding assays.

    摘要: Theophylline derivatives are provided for preparing reagents for use in competitive protein binding assays and for use as reagents in competitive protein binding assays. Theophylline is substituted at the 3 position and conjugated to antigens for production of antibodies which specifically recognize theophylline as distinct from structurally similar analogs such as caffeine. Enzyme conjugates are provided which find use for measuring the amount of theophylline in a sample suspected of containing theophylline. A method is provided employing the reagents for the determination of theophylline.

    摘要: A method for capturing an electronic signature of a user in a java based environment on a personal digital assistant. The method including prompting the user by an applet operating on the personal digital assistant, handling a canvas by the applet, and capturing an instance of the electronic signature on the canvas. The method further includes encoding by the canvas the instance of the electronic signature in a file and transferring the file by the canvas to the applet. A personal digital assistant including a screen sensitive to pressure for capturing a signature and an application adapted to capture the signature and attach the signature to a business object. In the personal digital assistant, the application further includes an applet adapted to prompt a user and adapted to handle a canvas. The canvas is adapted to capture an instance of the electronic signature and encode the instance in a file. The file is transferred by the canvas to the applet. A computer readable medium including a method for capturing an electronic signature of a user in a java based environment on a personal digital assistant.

    摘要: Compounds are provided which can be used in the preparation of reagents useful for quantitatively determining the presence of b-adrenergic blocking agents. These compounds contain a derivative of the blocking agent which is linked to an antigen or enzyme, the antigen conjugates being useful for preparing antibodies, and the enzyme conjugates being useful as detectors in an immunoassay as well. Additionally carboxylic acids, esters and aldehydes which are derivatives of the blocking agents are provided which are useful in preparing the above conjugates.
