Abstract: An oceangoing vessel exhaust pipe coupling used to temporarily couple to an oceangoing vessel exhaust pipe. Installation and removal of the coupling only requires a simple mechanism with three translational degrees of freedom and one rotational degree of freedom, thereby enabling remote coupling. The coupling adapts to a wide array of exhaust pipe shapes and sizes. This is accomplished by a unique shape that allows stable and balanced resting position on top of an exhaust pipe as well as a two-chamber configuration, wherein the two chambers are separated by a permeable partition. Furthermore, the unique shapes of the chambers deflect the exhaust gas stream towards the outlet of the coupling, regardless of exhaust pipe style, thereby increasing capture efficiency and extending the life of an attached fabric flexible hose.

Abstract: A liquid conservation device that utilizes a heat exchanger to condense water vapor from exhaust gas emanating from an exhaust treatment. Water evaporated during the emissions control process is recovered and returned for reuse, thereby significantly reducing the water requirement of the exhaust treatment. This is especially helpful for a mobile emissions control system that is normally not directly connected to a water utility.

Abstract: In accordance with one embodiment, a servicing watercraft that may be safely secured to a serviced watercraft. The servicing watercraft comprises at least one auxiliary section that may be positioned to either a) increase the effective width of the servicing watercraft thus reducing rolling motion while the servicing watercraft is stationary or in operation, OR b) decrease the width of the servicing watercraft thus reducing drag while the watercraft is moving through the water. Furthermore, the auxiliary section(s) help the servicing watercraft to be positioned in an optimum location adjacent to the serviced watercraft as to avoid impact from accidently dropped cargo or shipping containers from the serviced watercraft.

Abstract: A multi-circuit system for temporarily connecting to a plurality of exhaust pipes of an oceangoing vessel at berth or at anchor and treating captured exhaust gas. Each circuit includes an exhaust gas processing system, a duct system to reach from the processing system to an exhaust pipe; a duct inlet port for attachment to a connector receiving exhaust gas from an exhaust pipe. A positioning system supports the duct systems and connectors in a ganged relationship and positions the duct systems and connectors in a temporary operational position and in a non-operational position. In another embodiment, blower controller is responsive to a pressure measurement at the duct inlet port or the connector to control a blower speed to set or maintain the pressure to a desired pressure.
