Abstract:
A sexual stimulation apparatus and method which may comprise a plurality of light sources for photostimulation of the vagina, clitoris, or both; one or more vibrators for mechanical stimulation of an area of the vagina; a handle; a controller and programmable memory for containing non-transitory instructions for modes of operation and driving the light sources and vibrators of the invention; a vaginal finger; a handle for ease of use; a keypad for user entry of commands; and a charging or programming port. The invention may also comprise sensors that sense physiologic parameters of a user and adjust sexual stimulation parameters to achieve a desired sexual stimulation effect. Blood oxygen level, temperature, pulse rate and muscle electrical activity may be sensed. The invention also may comprise a flexible covering that provides smooth sliding engagement with an area of the vagina of a user.

Abstract:
A bandage and method for securing a tension member comprising a central body and a plurality of tabs disposed about the central body. A tension member may be disposed across or through a slit or aperture of the central body. A body adhesive on the lower surface of the central body may secure the bandage to the patient. The tension member may then be pulled across the upper surface of the central body and a first tab may be folded over and adhered to the tension member and central body. The tension member may then be pulled back across the first tab and a second tab may be folded over and adhered to the tension member and first tab. Likewise, the tension member may then be pulled back across the second tab and a third tab may be folded over and adhered to the tension member and second tab.
Abstract:
A tissue fusing clamp comprises a pair of components pivotably attached, having a component end with a finger loop for manipulation of the components, and each component having a fusing end comprising fusing jaws that are able to be motivated towards one another into a closed position. A depressor depresses tissue between the tissue areas to be fused, resulting in a tightening of the tissue after fusing. The fusing jaws may each comprise a fusing element, such as an ultrasonic transducer or laser, that is in electrical communication with a fusing circuit for providing electrical power to the fusing element as desired by a user. The fusing circuit may be controlled by use of a foot switch or other controller that may be manipulated by the user when it is desired to activate the fusing elements.
Abstract:
A method for treating pelvic pain and or chronic prostatitis, and or overactive bladder symptoms. Energy, preferably in the form of infrared or near infrared wavelength light may be applied across the vaginal tissue or rectal tissue to treat pelvic pain and or chronic prostatitis. This method of energy application may cause local heating, alteration of cellular respiration, and alterations of local blood flow resulting in decreased muscle spasm, and or decreased pain, and or decreased overactive bladder symptoms. The method of the present invention may effectively treat chronic pelvic pain and or the symptoms of chronic prostatitis. The method of the invention may combine massaging of tissue with irradiation of same.

Abstract:
Low level laser energy may be delivered transmucosally to the vagina or other pelvic tissue. Such a device and its method of use may lead to healing of tissue, reduction of inflammation and pain, reduction in bladder problems such as urgency, frequency, and urinary incontinence, reshaping of tissue, and creation of a fertile environment for the potential implantation of stem cells. A probe may be moved in and out of the vagina in order to deliver the energy to the selected tissues. The probe may have a bulbous distal end that provides laser energy in a uniform 360 degree pattern or as close to 360 degrees of illumination as is structurally possible. Alternate embodiments may emit laser energy anywhere within the range from 0 degrees to 360 degrees. The scope of the present invention further includes the possibility of substituting alternate energy sources in place of laser energy.
