A method of identifying a cell configuration for a print shop may include determining a print job size distribution for a plurality of print jobs. The method may include identifying one or more print device requirements associated with a cell in a print shop, identifying a plurality of available print devices associated with the print shop and determining, by a computing device, a plurality of different configurations of the available print devices that satisfy the one or more print device requirements. The method may include, for each configuration, determining a print job size threshold value, and determining, by the computing device, a processing time associated with processing the plurality of print jobs by a cell having the configuration and the determined print job size threshold value. The method may include selecting, by the computing device, the cell having the configuration associated with the smallest processing time.
Abstract:
A circuit includes circuit portions operating from separate power supplies which are switched sequentially. An output of a first portion powered by a power supply (A) is provided as an input to a second portion powered by another power supply (B). Power supply (A) is switched-ON a delay interval later than power supply (B). In an embodiment, the first portion also receives a control input which enables or disables response of the first portion to changes in its inputs. An active circuit is connected between the control terminal and a constant reference potential node of the circuit, and has one transistor of a current-mirror pair connected across supplies (A) and (B). The active circuit connects the control terminal to the constant reference potential node in the delay interval, but is an open circuit otherwise. Power dissipation in the circuit is thereby reduced.

A device for testing low dropout (LDO) regulator is disclosed. In one embodiment, a device for testing LDO regulators includes an absolute value measurement module for measuring absolute output voltages of the LDO regulators including a resistor scaling array for generating candidate voltages based on a first output voltage of the LDO regulators, a multiplexer for forwarding one of the candidate voltages selected by a binary search algorithm, and a comparator for generating a first test output by comparing the candidate voltage with an external reference voltage, and a DC load regulation measurement module for measuring corresponding DC regulation voltages of the LDO regulators including a switch for applying an internal test load to a second output voltage of the LDO regulators, and the comparator for generating a second test output by comparing a reference voltage with the second output voltage modified by the internal test load.
Abstract:
A particulate catalytic cracking catalyst which comprises a zeolite having catalytic cracking ability under catalytic cracking conditions, added silica, precipitated alumina and, optionally clay. The catalytic cracking catalyst has a high matrix surface area and is useful in a catalytic cracking process, in particularly, a fluid catalytic cracking process, to improve bottoms conversion at a constant coke formation.
Abstract:
Methods and devices for increasing the sound attenuation properties of a noise suppression device are provided. Various embodiments include sound-attenuating cavities with improved sound capturing openings. In some embodiments, the sound capturing openings include holes surrounded by projections. In other embodiments, the sound capturing openings include angled slats. Embodiments also include sound capturing devices that include the improved sound capturing openings, such as silencers, vent hoods, barrier walls, air exchanges, and air intake and exhaust ducts.
Abstract:
An improved system and method for providing context information of executable code to an input method is provided. Advanced text input methods may be made aware of the type of text expected to be received as input so that input methods may achieve a higher accuracy in recognition of text input. Generic interfaces provide a framework for supporting application authoring platforms to allow application developers to easily specify context information to the system and have it reliably forwarded to the correct input methods. Additionally, a context tagging tool may associate specific text input fields of an existing application with a n input scope without modifying the application itself. The context tagging tool may create a manifest that contains tags associating the specific text input fields with an input scope. Any advanced input methods use by the application may be updated with instructions for accessing the context information stored in the manifest.

A catalyst composition comprising at least about 10% by weight pentasil, at least about 12% by weight Y-type zeolite at a pentasil to Y zeolite ratio of at least 0.25, and wherein the pentasil and Y zeolite comprise at least about thirty-five percent of the catalyst have been shown to optimize light olefin yields and LPG from FCC processes. Embodiments having matrix surface areas greater than 25 m2/g, phosphorous and rare earth are preferred. The compositions of this invention are particularly useful in typical fluid catalytic cracking (FCC) processes.

The sulfur content of liquid cracking products, especially the cracked gasoline, is reduced in a catalytic cracking process employing a cracking catalyst containing a high content of vanadium. The cracking process involves introducing at least one vanadium compound into a hydrocarbon-sulfur containing feedstock to be charged to a fluid catalytic cracking reactor operating under steady state conditions and containing an equilibrium fluid cracking catalyst inventory within the reactor. The amount of sulfur in the liquid products, in particular gasoline and LCO fractions, is reduced as a result of the increased vanadium content on the equilibrium catalyst. Advantageously, sulfur reduction is achieved even in the presence of other metal contaminants, such as nickel and iron, on the equilibrium catalyst.

A catalyst composition comprising metal phosphate binder and zeolite can be used to enhance olefin yields during hydrocarbon cracking processes. The composition typically further comprises aluminum phosphate, and the metal of the metal phosphate is a metal other than aluminum. Depending on the metal chosen, enhanced propylene and isobutylene yields in fluid catalytic cracking processes can be obtained compared to catalysts that do not contain such metal phosphate binders. The catalyst can also comprise non-zeolitic molecular sieves, thereby making the composition suitable for use in areas outside of catalytic cracking, e.g., purification and adsorbent applications.

A process is disclosed for preparing ortho substituted phenylamines comprising contacting phenylhydroxylamine, optionally substituted with at least one inert substituent, with a nucleophilic reagent in the presence of a manganese oxide at a temperature between about 10° C. and about 170° C. and a pressure from subatmospheric to superatmospheric such that an ortho substituted phenylamine, optionally correspondingly substituted with at least one inert substituent, is predominantly formed.
