摘要： An apparatus for inhibiting effects of an explosive blast includes a central portion including a stiffening element and defining a radiused exterior surface and a plurality of sides extending from the central portion for attachment to a structure. The central portion and the plurality of sides are configured to redirect at least a portion of a blast wave resulting from an explosive blast. A vehicle hull includes a personnel compartment and an apparatus for inhibiting effects of an explosive blast operably associated with the personnel compartment. The apparatus includes a central portion including a stiffening element and defining a radiused exterior surface and a plurality of sides extending between the central portion and the personnel compartment. The central portion and the plurality of sides are configured to redirect at least a portion of a blast wave resulting from an explosive blast.

摘要： A tape running system for a slide loading type magnetic recording and reproducing apparatus. The system comprises a stationary base plate mounted on a deck mechanism of the apparatus, a slide base mounted on the stationary base plate such that it is reciprocated with respect to the stationary base plate within a predetermined range, a pair of loading gears mounted on the lower surface of the stationary base plate and engaging with each other and connected to a pair of slant post assemblies through individual loading levers, and a rotational force transmitting unit transmitting the rotational force of the loading gears to the slide base for driving the slide base. The rotational force transmitting unit is connected between one of the pair of loading gears and the slide base and linearly reciprocates the slide base using the rotational force of the loading gears. The pair of slant post assemblies as well as the slide base are driven by the rotational force of the loading gears, thereby achieving the recent trend of compactness and light weight design.

摘要： A pivotable cassette housing for a magnetic recording and reproducing apparatus, comprising a pivotable bracket formed of a single metal plate, to have an integral construction, and a cassette holder mounted in the bracket and adapted to receive a tape cassette therein. The pivotable bracket has a pair of side walls and a pair of connecting portions integrally formed with the side walls and adapted to connect the side walls with each other, one of the connecting members having a cross section with a stepped shape and the other having a cross section with a shape having opposite protruded ends. Each of the side walls has a guide pin extending inwardly from an inner surface of the side wall and the cassette holder has a guide slot for receiving the guide pin, to mount the cassette holder in the bracket. The bracket is formed by blanking a single metal plate into a construction having a pair of side wall portions, a pair of connecting portions for connecting the side walls with each other, bending the side wall portions of the construction into a shape corresponding the side walls of the bracket, and forming a plurality of recesses at the resultant bent edges of the side wall portions, to produce a plurality of reinforcing support lugs at the bent edges.

摘要： A combination optical and electronical viewfinder is provided to have both an optical systems and and electronical system in combination for the viewfinder of a camcorder for selecting either one of the two systems by a simple mainpulation of a mirror for pivoting to a position within the viewfinder casing to interrupt the path of light for or against one of the systems. The mirror is disposed between an eye lens and an objective lens within the viewfinder casing and is arranged to be pivotable on a hinge pin with the help of guides in the side walls of the casing. A picture tube for the electronical system is disposed perpendicular to the casing underneath it with a through opening in the casing wall to give image to the mirror for reflection toward the eye lens.

摘要： A brake device for a magnetic recording and reproducing apparatus, such as a slide loading type camera recorder. The supply reel brake unit includes a supply reel brake having an operating pin, and a mode switch gear having an operating protrusion pushing the operating pin in a tape running mode, thereby releasing the tape supply reel table. In addition, the supply reel brake unit may comprise a drive cam gear, a supply reel brake cooperating with the drive cam gear to selectively brake the tape supply reel table. The take-up reel brake unit includes a clutch gear engaging with the reel gear of the tape take-up reel table, a take-up reel brake having a rotation limit lever limiting the rotation of the brake in cooperation with the guide pin of the stationary base plate, a latch of the brake selectively engaging with the reel gear of the tape take-up reel table to brake the take-up reel table, and a stop pin of the take-up reel brake received by the slit of the slide base to separate the latch of the brake from the reel gear of the tape take-up reel table in a tape loading operation, thereby releasing the tape take-up reel table.

The systems and methods employ a programmable telematics communications unit (TCU) configured to connect to the OBD II port of a vehicle, enabling two-way transmission of data and information between a fleet management system and vehicles in the fleet. The TCU device includes cellular data connectivity enabling communication with the management system through existing cellular telephone networks. The programmable TCU may be toggled between multiple operating modes, wherein the TCU provides different functionality, such that a single vehicle may participate in multiple vehicle programs at different points in time, including separate vehicle rental and vehicle sharing programs.
