Abstract:
The application relates to a method for controlling a printing process for printing a decorative target image on a substrate, comprising providing the decorative target image to be printed in the printing process by at least one decorative parameter data set, simulating the printing process in a simulation step based on the decorative parameter data set, at least one printing process parameter data set and stored historical printing data sets, such that a digital decorative image is generated, verifying the generated digital decorative image based on the decorative target image to be printed and at least one verification criterion, and if the verification criterion is met, outputting the printing process parameter data set used in the simulation step for performing the printing process.
Abstract:
A recording material for thermal printing methods comprising a carrier and a dye-absorbing layer equipped for the thermal dye transfer, wherein a barrier layer is arranged between the carrier and the dye-absorbing layer and the barrier layer contains gelatine and a polymer binder dispersible in water, the gelatine and the polymer binder dispersible in water being cross-linked with one another, suitable for the production of photo-like images having very good dye migration behaviour and without mottle effect.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a transfer material for dye sublimation processes, comprising a base paper, which is coated on one side with a color-receiving layer, wherein the base paper contains at least 1.5% by weight, based on the mass of the pulp, of a polymer dispersion selected from the group consisting of polyacrylates, polyesters, polyolefins or mixtures thereof. The invention further relates to a process for producing a transfer material according to the invention, comprising the steps of: (a) producing a base paper on a paper machine, wherein at least 1.5% by weight, based on the mass of the pulp, of a polymer dispersion selected from the group consisting of polyacrylates, polyesters, polyolefins or mixtures thereof are added to the pulp suspension during production of the base paper; (b) drying and smoothing the base paper; (c) applying the color-receiving layer to a surface of the base paper; and (d) drying the transfer material obtained in step (c). The invention further relates to a process for transferring an image onto a receiving material by sublimation, wherein a transfer material according to the invention is printed with an image by way of the inkjet printing process, and the image is transferred onto a receiving material by sublimation.
Abstract:
