摘要: Provided herein is a molding material that attains little fluctuation in amount of short fibers and powdery resin among individual products and that allows continuous production without damaging a die. In the step of pouring, slurry is poured onto a slurry diffusion member 7 from above the slurry diffusion member 7. The slurry diffusion member 7 extends in an upward direction, and is shaped such that the area of a transverse section taken along a direction orthogonal to the upward direction becomes smaller as the slurry diffusion member 7 extends in the upward direction. In the step of cleaning, a dispersion medium that is the same as the dispersion medium used in the step of pouring or water is poured onto the slurry diffusion member 7 from above the slurry diffusion member 7 to cause the short fibers and the powdery resin adhering to a slurry diffusion portion 71 of the slurry diffusion member 7 to fall down. After that, the dispersion medium is discharged from a cylindrical die 3 to accumulate the short fibers and the powdery resin in the cylindrical die 3 to obtain an aggregate 38 of the short fibers and the powdery resin. Then, the aggregate 38 is compressed.

摘要: A secondary battery in which the contact resistance is not increased even if the number of housed electrodes is increased is provided. Two screw holes 11d are formed in an opposed surface 11c of a terminal body portion 11b of a positive terminal 11 that faces the stacking direction. A projecting surface 11e is provided between the two screw holes 11d to project toward a positive pressing member 25 with respect to portions provided with the screw holes 11d. The projecting surface 11e projects toward the positive pressing member 25 by 0.2 mm with respect to the portions provided with the two screw holes 11d.

摘要: Provided herein is a lead-acid battery for which the risk of breakage of a current collecting lug part of a plate while in use is eliminated by simple means. At least a positive plate group of the lead-acid battery includes: one or more plates each including a current collector having a current collecting portion formed by expanding or punching a lead alloy sheet manufactured by cold rolling, and one or more current collecting lug parts unitarily formed with the current collecting portion; and a strap formed by a cast-on strap casting method and coupled to the one or more current collecting lug parts. The current collecting lug part is formed with an elongated protrusion extending in a direction away from the current collecting portion. The elongated protrusion continuously extends in a direction toward the current collecting portion of the plate from inside the strap.

摘要: A battery-state monitoring system for precisely and efficiently estimating the state and service life of each of a plurality of storage batteries while suppressing variations in voltage between the batteries in a large-scale power-supply system that is provided with the storage batteries charged with power generated by utilizing natural energy is provided. The system includes a power supply control device that detects a current in each storage battery, an end device that measures temperature, voltage, and internal resistance of each battery, the internal resistance being measured by using at least two or more kinds of frequencies, and a prime monitoring device that acquires measurement data from the end device corresponding to each battery and issues an instruction related to an operation to the power supply control device and the end device. The prime monitoring device estimates degradation of each battery based on one or more of temperature, voltage, internal resistance.

摘要: A thin film is used in a metallic collector in order to increase the volume energy density. However, the strength of the thin film is low, so when a negative plate or a positive plate is directly joined to a terminal base portion, even an insignificant load might cause damage, such as cutting of the metallic collector. Even in a structure where the metallic collector is joined to a highly-conductive plate-like metal or a highly-conductive plate-like resin, and where the collecting plate is joined to a terminal base portion, the connection between the collecting plate and the terminal base portion affects the battery properties. The present invention provides a rechargeable battery including an electrode group in which a metallic collector having a negative active material layer formed on a surface, a separator retaining an electrolyte, and another metallic collector having a positive active material layer formed on a surface are alternately disposed in a layered manner into a strip shape such that the separator is interposed between the two kinds of metallic collectors, and electrode plate tabs formed at ends of the two kinds of metallic collectors are joined to each of metallic collecting plates by a predetermined number, and the metallic collecting plates are joined together with pressing plates, by fitting between a bolt and a nuts, to a terminal base portion having a through-hole for the bolt.

摘要: There is little fluctuation in amount of short fibers among individual products of fiber substrate. No damage is caused to a mold for the fiber substrate. Continuous production of the fiber substrates is possible. A method of manufacturing a fiber substrate includes the steps of: preparing slurry by dispersing short fibers in a dispersion medium; pouring the slurry into a cylindrical mold from above the cylindrical mold, the slurry being directed to a slurry diffusion member disposed in the center of the cylindrical mold and having an upward pointing conical or pyramidal shape; pouring the dispersion medium or water onto the slurry diffusion member from above the slurry diffusion member to cause the short fibers adhering to the slurry diffusion member to fall down, after the step of pouring the slurry; and discharging the dispersion medium from the cylindrical mold to accumulate the short fibers in the cylindrical mold to obtain a fiber aggregate.
