摘要: The present invention concerns an unexpected synergistic combination of known antineoplastic therapies, which provides unexpectedly greater efficacy than either therapy alone in the treatment of neoplasia. Accordingly, the present invention provides a method that has utility in the treatment of various forms of cancer and tumours, but particularly in the treatment of brain and colorectal liver metastases and more specifically in the treatment of primary and secondary cancer of the liver. It is to be understood that the selective internal radiation therapies described herein should not be limited to radioactive microparticles, but may be extended to any radioactive particles that are suitable for use in the treatment methods described herein.
