    摘要: A panic braking operation of a vehicle having at least two wheels is detected by measuring speed quantities which represent the rotary motions of at least two wheels, selecting the speed quantity of one of the wheels and/or by determining a speed value from the speed quantities, determining a change value which represents the time-related change of the selected speed quantity and/or of the speed value, determining the time characteristic of the change value, and detecting a panic braking operation as a function of the time characteristic of the change value. What is advantageous here is that no complex and expensive additional sensor technology is needed for detecting panic braking; the wheel-speed sensors which are provided anyway in anti-lock control systems, traction control systems, and/or vehicle stability control systems are sufficient. Thus, the use of a panic detection is also possible in so-called “low-cost braking systems”.

For at least one wheel, a wheel speed setpoint is determined. For the at least one wheel, a deviation quantity describing the deviation between the wheel speed determined for that wheel and the setpoint is determined. To stabilize the vehicle, actuators assigned to the at least one wheel are activated as a function of this deviation quantity.

    摘要: In a method of controlling a braking system in a vehicle, the action of the brakes is distributed between at least one front and one rear wheel by adjusting at least the braking pressure in the brakes on one of the rear wheels in order to establish a difference between the braking pressure on the front wheel and that on the rear wheel. The difference established between the braking pressure on the front wheel and that on the rear wheel is decreased in the presence of a prescribable condition. The presence of the prescribable condition depends at least on a detected parameter that represents the longitudinal velocity of the vehicle, and the established difference is continuously decreased. The time at which the level of pressure on the rear-wheel brake can be safely equalized to that of the pressure on the front-wheel brake can be reliably determined because the time at which the braking-force distribution that enhances safe driving is no longer necessary is narrowly related to the longitudinal velocity of the vehicle. Furthermore, the continuous equalization of pressure reduces or eliminates the reaction perceived in the brake pedal by the driver and increases driving comfort.

A second variant provides that speed variables are determined which represent the rotations of at least two wheels; a velocity variable is ascertained representing the longitudinal vehicle velocity; the difference is determined between the speed variable of the fastest rear wheel and the velocity variable; and a curve and/or a lane change is detected when a specifiably large difference exists for a time duration of specifiable length.
