Abstract:
The present disclosure relates to methods and systems for improving customer experience through real time troubleshooting in relation to customer experience management. In one embodiment, a proactive customer experience management method is disclosed, comprising: obtaining a performance-indicating alert (PA); identifying relevant alerts from the alert database in absence of possible fault condition from the PA; determining a possible problem condition from the PA and identified relevant alerts; raising trace trigger for gathering relevant trace data; determining specific problem condition and relevant cause, based on gathered trace data and relevant data from PM/FM, CDR, OSS systems; determining appropriate recommendation for resolution of the determined specific problem condition; updating a user interface dashboard using the determination of the root cause of the possible problem and the recommendation for resolution of the possible problem; and updating new knowledge into a knowledge base with problem-context, resolution, relevant adjustments to alerts, thresholds and rules.

This disclosure relates generally to location services, and more particularly to systems and methods for effective identification of geo-location in mobile HetNet environments. In one embodiment, a device geo-location method is disclosed, comprising: receiving one or more wireless signal strengths associated with connectivity of a user device to one or more wireless access points; calculating, via a processor, one or more distances of the user device from the one or more wireless access points using the one or more wireless signal strengths; triangulating a user device location coordinate using: a pre-determined wireless access point location coordinate associated with at least one of the one or more wireless access points; and the calculated one or more distances of the user device from the one or more wireless access points; and storing the user device location coordinate.
Abstract:
A battery recharging circuit for a valve regulated lead-acid battery having a plurality of cells, each cell including a positive electrode, a negative electrode, a DC voltage source for generating a voltage applied to the positive and negative battery electrodes, and a reference electrode includes a regenerating voltage source for selectively applying a regenerating voltage between the reference electrode and one of the battery electrodes for regenerating the reference electrode, and a reference voltage source for generating a reference voltage. The circuit further includes circuitry for measuring the voltage level between the reference electrode and a battery electrode after removal of the regenerating voltage from the reference electrode. Circuitry compares the measured voltage level to the reference voltage to generate an error correction signal. The voltage generated by the DC voltage source is adjusted based upon the error correction signal, such that the voltage of the DC voltage source applied to the battery electrodes adjusts the voltage level between the reference electrode and one of the battery electrodes to be substantially equal to the reference voltage.
Abstract:
A semiconductor power device comprises a semiconductor substrate. The substrate includes an N-type silicon region and N+ silicon region. An oxide layer overlies the N− type silicon region, the oxide layer formed using a Plasma Enhanced Chemical Vapor deposition (PECVD) method. First and second electrodes are coupled to the N− type silicon region and the N+ type silicon region, respectively. The oxide layer has a thickness 0.5 to 3 microns. The power device also includes a polymide layer having a thickness of 3 to 20 microns; a first field plate overlying the oxide layer; and second field plate overlying the polymide layer and the first field plate, wherein the second field plate overlaps the first field plate by 2 to 15 microns.
Abstract:
A diode is defined on a die. The diode includes a substrate of P conductivity having an upper surface and a lower surface, the substrate having first and second ends corresponding to first and second edges of the die. An anode contacts the lower surface of the substrate. A layer of N conductivity is provided on the upper surface of the substrate, the layer having an upper surface and a lower surface. A doped region of N conductivity is formed at an upper portion of the layer. A cathode contacts the doped region. A passivation layer is provided on the upper surface of the layer and proximate to the cathode.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a new use of a non-alkaloid compound that is plant derived glycoside ‘glycyrrhizin’ as a highly potent bio-enhancer of activity and availability of antibiotics and other drugs including anti-infective and anticancer agents. The molecule of invention facilitates the absorption/uptake of antibiotics and other molecules across the cell membrane in plant and animal cells as well as Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria and therefore can be used as a drug facilitator or bioenhancer molecule to increase the affectivity of drugs and nutraceutical agents. The compound having no antimicrobial or cytotoxic activity of its own, is a safe candidate to reduce the drug dosage towards circumventing the problem of drug resistance and the other side effects in anti-infective and anti-cancer therapies.
