    摘要: A multi-blade fan having a fan assembly including a bottom plate and a plurality of circumferentially spaced blades and a casing for the fan assembly therein having an outlet duct extending therefrom for discharge of the air flows. The fan assembly includes an annular shroud connected to the axial ends of the blades remote from the bottom plate. The casing includes a bottom wall for rotatably connecting the fan assembly, a top wall for defining an air inlet for axially introducing the air into the casing, and a tubular wall connecting the bottom and top walls. The top wall of the casing adjacent to the inlet opening forms an annular projection having a bell cross sectional shape opened inwardly so that an axial end of the shroud extends thereto. The bell cross section portion radially extends to a portion that is inclined downwardly in the outward direction, which faces the shroud so that a small gap extending radially is created. The top wall or bottom wall of the casing at its radially outer portion can be downwardly inclined. The tubular wall of the casing can also be inclined so that the bottom end of the tubular wall is flared radially outward from its center.

The flow-dividing plate (9) is provided in a fan case (5) at a position forwardly of the throttle body (10) and has a bottom-plate portion (14) disposed at a position lower than the throttle body (10). The flow-dividing plate (9) divides the cooling air generated by an air-blowing fan (7) toward left and right sides of the central cooling-air passage (8). In this air-cooled V-shaped engine, the fan case (5) has a ceiling wall a central portion (11) of which is positioned just above the bottom-plate portion (14) of the flow-dividing plate (9). The central portion (11) of the ceiling wall of the flow-dividing plate (9) is provided at a position higher than the throttle body (10) as well as the central side portions (12), (12) of the ceiling wall, led out of the central portion (11) in a left and right directions.

    摘要: An air conditioner for automotive vehicles is disclosed. The flow rates of air supplied to an evaporator (4) and a heater (5) are adjusted by rotationally displacing a scroll casing (2b) and thus changing an air flow from a blower (2) to a predetermined direction. The air-mix door can thus be eliminated to allow a smaller size of an air-conditioner casing (3) (air-conditioning unit (1)). Also, the ratio between cool air flow rate and hot air flow rate is adjusted by rotationally displacing the scroll casing (2b) with a spur gear (2c) and, therefore, the size and the production cost of the air conditioner can be reduced as compared with a conventional system in which an air-mix door is swung by a link mechanism.
