    摘要: A metabolic syndrome relieving agent that is free from a problem of side effects and can be taken for a long term is provided. Aurapten is used as an agent for relieving a metabolic syndrome. Since aurapten has functions of activating PPARα and PPARγ, promoting the secretion of adiponectin in adipocytes and inhibiting the generation of VLDLs in hepatic cells, it is possible to prevent or treat diseases such as insulin resistance, hyperinsulinism, type 2 diabetes, obesity, visceral fat obesity, hypertension, hyperlipemia, arteriosclerosis and the like and thus prevent or treat the metabolic syndrome. Also, as understood from the fact that citrus fruits such as a hassaku orange, a sweet summer orange or the like containing aurapten have been eaten for many years, they have no problems in terms of safety and have a low calorie content, and therefore, they can be taken for a long term. Further, since aurapten is tasteless and odorless, it does not impair the unique taste of a food when added to this food, so that it can be added to foods and taken.

    摘要: A suppressor of the expression of MCP-1 is provided that is excellent in safety and is widely applicable to, for example, foods. The suppressor of the expression of MCP-1 according to the present invention is characterized by containing auraptene. Auraptene is contained in citrus fruits such as Hassaku, Amanatsu, Natsumikan, and grapefruit. Since these citrus fruits have been eaten for a long time, the present invention has no problem in safety. Furthermore, even when added to, for example, foods, auraptene does not impair the flavor thereof because it is substantially tasteless and odorless. Since auraptene has a low calorific value, for example, an obese person or a diabetic patient can ingest it over a long period of time. Auraptene suppresses the expression of MCP-1 at a genetic level (see FIG. 1) and a protein level.

Whether the level of an unwanted-wave signal that penetrates the amplifier from space via an antenna is greater than a set level is monitored. If the level of the unwanted-wave signal is above the set level, processing for updating distortion compensation coefficients is suspended. If the level of the unwanted-wave signal is below the set level, then processing for updating distortion compensation coefficients is resumed.
