摘要： A fluid pump includes a case including a pump chamber, a reserve tank for storing spare liquid and located in the case but outside the pump chamber and formed so that a space independent of the pump chamber is defined by the reserve tank, a fluid path forming member arranged inside the reserve tank and including a discharge path communicating between a discharge port and the pump chamber, and a communication hole which is formed in a side of the fluid path forming member so as to assume such a position that the communication hole faces an inside of the reserve tank so that the hole communicates between the discharge path and the inside of the reserve tank, the communication hole being sized so that air in the pump chamber is allowed to flow through the hole into the reserve tank.

摘要： In a disc drive apparatus, a magnetic disc is housed in a casing and rotated by a motor mechanism. A magnetic head for recording information in a disc surface region and for reproducing the recorded information is supported by a carriage arm such that the magnetic head is swingable. Formed on that side of the carriage arm which faces the magnetic disc is a guide portion for guiding the air stream generated on the disc surface such that the air stream is allowed to flow in the longitudinal direction of the carriage arm.

摘要： A pump has a pump casing and an impeller. The pump casing has a pump chamber, an inlet path through which a liquid is guided to the pump chamber and an outlet path through which the liquid is discharged from the pump chamber. The impeller is housed in the pump chamber. With the rotation of the impeller, the liquid is sucked through the inlet path into the pump chamber and pushed out of the pump chamber into the outlet path. The outlet path has a first opening end which is opened in the pump chamber, and a second opening end located downstream of the first opening end. The first opening end has an opening area larger than that of the second opening end.

摘要： One surface of a base section having an open portion forming an inlet port of a fluid is thermally connected to a target module to be cooled. Pluralities of fins arranged in parallel are mounted on the other surface of a base section in a direction substantially perpendicular to the base section. A fan is arranged to permit the fluid to flow through the clearance between the adjacent fins. A wall section open to the inlet port of the fluid is mounted on the base section. A part of the wall section constitutes a detachable lid section. A partition plate having through-holes formed therein is arranged between the base section and the lid section so as to divide the space between the base section and the lid section into two fluid flowing channels consisting of a main flowing channel and an auxiliary flowing channel.
