    摘要: A flywheel energy storage system comprises a dynamoelectric machine, a flywheel connected to the dynamoelectric machine for rotation therewith, an auxiliary machine for performing operational tasks associated with the operation of the dynamoelectric machine and the flywheel, a low voltage power source for operating the auxiliary machine, a permanent magnet generator connected to be operated by energy stored in the flywheel for generating electric power which is supplied to the auxiliary machine when the low-voltage power source is not available, and a converter means connected between the permanent magnet generator and the auxiliary machine for converting a varying voltage from the permanent magnet generator into a stable voltage which can be supplied to the auxiliary machine.

    摘要: A superconducting apparatus including a superconducting solenoid coil made of a superconducting wire wound around a bobbin. The superconducting wire has a superconductor having a rectangular cross-section of a narrow width, and the superconductor of the superconducting wire has a larger sectional area at the end region of the superconducting solenoid coil than at the central region. The superconductor at the end region of the superconducting solenoid coil may comprise a plurality of superconducting wires with superconductors having a large sectional area, or may comprise a plurality of superconductors connected in parallel to each other, thereby increasing the effective sectional area of the superconductor in the end region.

Both the inner and outer sections are forcedly cooled and extend over the entire axial length of the superconducting coil. The inner section for the high magnetic field has a layer-winding structure while the outer section for the low magnetic field has a pancake-winding structure.

    摘要: A superconducting solenoid designed to improve working efficiency, heat resistance and electrical insulation of the solenoid to a practical extent. The superconducting solenoid comprises a winding frame, wires formed of filamentary conductors having superconductivity and wound around the winding frame, an insulator formed of alumina fiber material and covering each of the wires for providing electrical insulation, and a resinous material impregnated in between turns of the wires so as to provide a supporting structure. The insulator formed of alumina fiber material is in the form of a sheet, a mat or a yarn.
