摘要: The present invention relates to a method of determining metabolic parameters of one or several muscular motor units by coupling muscular response to ventilatory response of a subject, comprising, from a step of performing efforts (i) using a test device by the subject moving on the test device; (ii)-a step of instantaneously measuring the movement speed of one or several muscular motor units of the subject v(t), and the oxygen flow rate φO2t); (iii)-a step of plotting the COT curve of the oxygen flow rate of the subject against the movement speed of one or several muscular motor units of the subject v(t), (iv)-a step of determining the following metabolic parameters from the COT curve: Basal power B which is the vertical asymptote at the origin, Flow resistance RM which is the oblique asymptote at high intensities.

摘要: The inventors explored in an allogeneic situation the regulatory potential of Mucosal-Associated Invariant T cells (MAIT cells), a population of unconventional T cells that exhibit potent antibacterial activity, expressing a semi-invariant TCR which recognizes vitamin B2 derivatives of microbial origin presented by the MR1 molecule. In particular, the inventors used i) an allogenic reaction model in vitro (mixed lymphocyte reaction, MLR) and ii) murine model of xenogeneic aGvHD They first verified that human MAIT cells do not proliferate in response to allogeneic stimulation in vitro (MLR) or in vivo (immunodeficient mice) alone but require for their expansion both an inflammatory environment and TCR ligation by its ligand. In contrast, MAIT cells are able to inhibit the proliferation of allospecific LT in vitro in a dose-dependent manner. Furthermore, the adoptive transfer of MAIT cells in a mouse model of xeno-GVHD resulted in a delay in early or late GvHD development. Altogether, these data describe a new regulatory function of MAIT cells in an allogeneic context, allowing us to consider their use in cell therapy to limit GvHD.

摘要: The present disclosure is directed to a motor for a magnetic resonance (MR) tomography room, to a patient table for the MR room, to a MR elastography device, and to a MR tomography device. A MR tomography device for a MR elastography imaging protocol is arranged within the MR tomography room, and includes a rotational drive for supplying rotational energy to power a MR elastography transducer usable during the MR elastography imaging protocol, and a support structure. The rotational drive comprises a terminal for connecting the MR elastography transducer to the rotational drive, and a bearing means configured such that the position of the terminal relative to the support structure is adaptable along a trajectory predetermined by the bearing means. The rotational drive is mounted to the support structure via the bearing means.

摘要: Because of the increase of the obesity related diseases, it is desirable to be able to detect a fatty liver and quantify the content in fat for the fatty liver. Known methods are biopsy and magnetic resonance imaging. However, biopsy is an invasive method and magnetic resonance imaging is a complicated method to carry out. The inventors propose a new ultrasonic method which is more compliant with a regular control of the content in fat for the fatty liver for a subject. This method notably relies on a smart exploitation of the coherence properties of ultrasound pulses applied to the liver. This method has already been validated on sane subjects as providing accurate measurements, notably for fat content.
